As the Episode commences, Kunal boards a flight to Mumbai. He expresses his displeasure about returning to the city. Memories of a conversation with his dad come rushing back. His father reminds him that their business suffered due to his decisions and highlights the tough competition in London. Kunal counters by mentioning the abundance of talented artists in India, eagerly waiting for an opportunity. However, his dad dismisses this, accusing Kunal’s relatives of being solely interested in spending his money. In the midst of this, Kunal’s sister excitedly runs up to him and asks if he is going to India. Kunal confirms this for business purposes, prompting Vedika to request to go along as well since she has nothing to do there. Despite her father’s objections, Kunal encourages Vedika and advises her to discuss it with him. She persists and insists on accompanying him as she dislikes staying in London.
He requests her to smile, commenting on how her face resembles their mother. She responds saying that it brings peace to her. Their father becomes frustrated but manages to control his temper. Kunal interjects, relieved that the similarity ends with their faces and urges his father to rest. She leaves the room as requested. Kunal then asks his father not to criticize Vedika. His dad explains that he hopes she will change, smile and live since their mother abandoned them and they need to move on, admitting his strong disdain towards her. Kunal tries to stop him from continuing this subject again. Kuldeep expresses his desire to regain his former glory and bring their company back to the top spot, emphasizing the importance of having one strong voice leading them there. The flashback concludes and Kunal states that he will find that one voice himself.
Vandana is found singing when her young brother interrupts her daydream. She sweetly pecks him and proceeds to get ready. Sending an audio message to her fiancé Vaibhav, she is called out by her father. Quickly making her way outside, Kunal departs from the airport and contacts Bobby for a ride. After receiving a picture of Bobby, he suggests taking a selfie at a low angle and greets his fans. As the media rushes to capture photos, a woman calls out to Kunal and introduces herself as Kuku’s mother, welcoming him to India. Greeting his Bua ji with open arms, Kunal receives love from Bobby and taunts them playfully. Despite their invitation to join them for a home-cooked meal, he declines politely as his hotel reservations have already been made.
Kunal says to take the car, he’ll get a cab. He leaves with Bobby. Bobby asks where you are going. Kunal says Rohan’s studio, we will see the singer’s unique voice. Is the contract ready? Bobby replies yes, I am always ready. Kunal says I hope this voice is the one I’m looking for, I need it.
It is her father’s music that Ventana sings to. She dreams of winning the best singer award. He blesses her. She praises his music. He says you get a great chance, you work hard, you’ll make your voice your identity. She says yes. He encourages her. He says your first song should be big, live it well, sing it the best way. She says sure, you have your entire life in the music industry. I will sing your compositions and make them a hit song, and I wish to fulfill your dream as a singer.
He says my dreams got the rust, forget it. She adds, “It’s a big day for me, let’s make this bigger.” Promising to give her compositions to a valued music company, he cries tears of joy. Bobby shows property pictures to Kunal and lies to him. “You can shift tomorrow,” he says enthusiastically, urging Kunal to check out the amazing view. However, Kunal’s attention is on the traffic jam outside.
Aaji encourages us to achieve our dream of success. She gives me some curd to eat. My sister, Vandana, arrives and informs me that we need to take a video or selfie. I explain that I am pressed for time, but she reminds me that we are waiting for my big break. Excitedly, I share with her the news that my voice has been selected. We agree to take a before and after selfie at the studio. Our neighbors wish Vandana all the best, followed by words of encouragement from our father who believes her unique voice will make her dreams come true. As Kunal arrives at the studio, Rohan expresses admiration for Vandana’s distinct voice. Thanking him for the opportunity, Vandana sings while Kunal listens in awe. However, Rohan gestures towards Kunal and asks him… At this point, Vandana dismisses their praise and tearfully exclaims her frustration that no one seems to appreciate her unique voice and compares it to an alien’s.
