The Episode opens with Reyansh expressing his childhood dream of working with Jai and anticipating a successful launch for the channel. Jai inquires if Kriti will be joining in on the party, to which she replies that they will celebrate once the TRP ratings come out. Meanwhile, Aradhana arrives and is adamant to prevent her sister from facing any harm, thus seeking out Reyansh’s whereabouts. However, she is informed that he has gone for the broadcast. Upon returning from his task, Reyansh embraces Jai and Kriti fears that their friendship might be at stake due to Aradhana’s interference. Soon after, Aradhana finds Reyansh and reveals that she has disclosed the truth about their relationship to Malini. He denies this accusation but Aradhana insists he can confirm it with Malini himself. In a gesture of comfort, Reyansh lends her his jacket and agrees to fulfill her request as promised.
Reyansh assures her that she doesn’t need to ask him anything, as he belongs completely to her. However, she pleads with him to stop the news. Confused, he asks why, reminding her that they are set to launch a news channel. She explains that someone is blackmailing Malini and Kimaya with a video of Angad and Kimaya. Worried about Kimaya’s reputation, she begs Reyansh not to let this happen. He insists that he will handle the situation and mentions how their friendship is based on this news channel. She reminds him of his love for her and asks him not to let their personal feelings come in the way of doing what is right. Refusing to give in, he tells her that he cannot mix personal and professional matters and suggests that if they start giving news based on people’s threats, they might as well stop altogether. Despite her pleas, he stands firm on his decision to handle Kimaya himself.
She expresses concern that Malini will lose respect for her. He accuses her of manipulating him with her love. She mentions how her own video ruined her life and she doesn’t want the same for Kimaya. He insists on catching the blackmailer and protecting Kimaya, despite getting shot in the process. She is upset about him constantly betraying her trust. Feeling overwhelmed, she leaves the room to cry. Malini calls and asks for an update on her conversation with Vikram. Aradhana explains that he prioritizes his principles above all else. Malini pleads with her to make him understand that Kimaya is vulnerable right now and to hold off on releasing the news bulletin.
Vikram asks Reyansh to come, everyone is ready. Aradhana thinks I will stop him. Viren comes and says sorry, we have to change the news about the airport scam. Reyansh asks why, did Aradhana say something? Viren says something happened, business is on my name, change the news. Reyansh says it’s my show and my news. Jai says play the tape. Vikram plays the news.
They all clap as the news clip gets changed. Reyansh and Jai are shocked. Reyansh turns to Vikram and asks, “What did you do?” To which Vikram replies, “Nothing.” Jai interjects, “I actually changed the news.” As they continue discussing, Reyansh questions if Aradhana had approached Jai. Jai confirms her involvement and shares how she had pleaded for help. He then brings up Kimaya’s predicament and how it is a matter of utmost importance to him.
Reyansh expresses his disappointment with the decisions being made without consulting him and emphasizes on the value of ethics in their work. But Jai argues that it is essential to stand by Kimaya and protect her reputation if they truly love her. Reyansh suggests that changing the news every day out of fear is not fighting for the truth. But Jai assures him that they will handle the situation and reminds Reyansh of his love for Kimaya. Reyansh remains resolute in catching the blackmailer himself as he had promised Kimaya, but Jai challenges him to do so immediately. In a fit of anger, Reyansh throws a chair while Krit
Reyansh announces his intention to defeat his opponent. Vikram inquires as to why Reyansh tends to become agitated with his friends. Reyansh explains that he is simply not in a position of authority. He goes on to mention Aradhana’s involvement in halting the spread of news through Jai. Curiosity piqued, Vikram probes for more information. Meanwhile, Reyansh privately wonders about Aradhana’s actions. He reveals that Jai went against him today. Akash agrees, expressing his own surprise at the situation.
Offering a possible explanation for Jai’s behavior, Reyansh suggests that he may have acted emotionally and decides to personally speak with him about it later. Kriti observes the escalating tension and questions why everyone is becoming so worked up over this matter. She acknowledges Aradhana’s talent as a journalist but remains certain that there must be something significant influencing Jai’s decision. Akash shares her sentiments and remarks on how their argument is anything but cool. With a level head, Kriti decides to approach Jai directly to clarify things. Acknowledging her pragmatism, Akash commends her before leaving the conversation.
