The Episode begins with Aradhana confiding in her friend. She deems herself a big loser. Her friend suggests grabbing coffee to revive the old Aradhana. Aradhana admits to falling down. In response, her friend expresses disappointment with Aradhana’s actions in love and urges her to reflect on herself. Feeling distraught and anxious, Aradhana shares she is experiencing palpitations. Her friend encourages her to share the story. Aradhana explains that she used to be a simple, middle-class girl who was solely focused on her work until one day, everything changed…6 months ago, Minister Khosla visited a hotel, where Reyansh happened to be present as well. Reyansh followed Khosla’s movements closely.
Aradhana reveals that a sudden storm hit my life, without me even realizing it. As Reyansh heads to the van and hands over the pendrive, they both witness an ongoing meeting. Thanks to Reyansh’s clever placement of cameras, they are able to broadcast live footage of Khosla and a wealthy individual in conversation. With a breaking news announcement, he exposes Khosla through a sting operation. Excited by the development, Aradhana tunes into the news and expresses her desire to interview Khosla. However, her uncle reminds her that their small company prioritizes viral stories over genuine reporting. Upon returning home, Aradhana finds her parents engrossed in watching the same news report. She can’t help but long for a chance to write authentic news like Reyansh; unfortunately, it’s simply not meant to be for her at this time.
Bhakti had invited you to join us at the clinic. Harsh agreed. Aradhana mentioned that you often demotivate her. Just then, Sharma ji arrived with some pakodas. She expressed her feelings of helplessness. She also asked if that hotel belonged to Reyansh. A girl affirmed and suggested to check social media for more information. Aradhana was intrigued and continued to gather details about Reyansh’s wealthy family background. She learned that he had helped his father by getting rid of Khosla, and was now determined to uncover the truth about their involvement. Her sister mentioned that the Lambas were hosting a party next week. Pooja offered to help Aradhana attend it if she wanted to gather more information.
Dharam uncle inquires, “Did you make it there?” Aradhana replies, “Yes, we’re about to uncover something big.” Reyansh’s father encourages him to be happy and they all have a drink. He adds, “I’ll teach you the art of love.” Reyansh remarks, “One eccentric person is more than enough here.” Aradhana picks up the novel and mentions its rarity while reminding them not to belittle it. She impresses Reyansh’s father who graciously offers her access to his library. She heads off, leaving Reyansh feeling dejected. He throws away the bouquet of roses while Aradhana looks through the documents.
Pooja reminds her to quickly locate the files before she gets caught. After thoroughly examining some documents and capturing photos, Pooja bumps into Reyansh, causing her phone to drop. He retrieves it for her and she gratefully thanks him before leaving with a smile. With excitement in her voice, she tells Dharam they have a major story on their hands. Upon arriving home, Pooja eagerly plays the news for everyone to see, hoping they will share in her joy. However, they watch a report of Mr. Dharam apologizing to Reyansh in order to avoid legal trouble. Disappointed but determined, Aradhana announces she must return to work and make sure the full story is known. She adds that despite facing obstacles, her hard work has paid off with a significant scoop.
She says I got proof. Dharam says you made a mistake. Reyansh says it happens, you broke into our house and stole things, not cool, my dad broke the partnership with corrupt Khosla, I broke the family without seeing the profits, honesty is rare, you think successful and rich means thief, I will sue your company. You are fired, Dharam says. Your dad may be right, my intention was to break a true story. She leaves.
Reyansh’s father stops her and offers her a job, praising her guts and courage. He then departs with Reyansh, ending the flashback. Her friend inquires about what happened next. The waiter reveals that their coffee shop will soon be closing down. Aradhana and her friend leave, with Aradhana reflecting on how the unpredictable Delhi rains mirrored her life. She mentions joining Reyansh’s office, where she found him to be a talented yet rude journalist who valued honesty above all else. With his signature enthusiasm, Reyansh asks for a “solid story” from his colleagues, leading to an argument between him and Aradhana about one particular story.
She believes he lacks respect towards women. She insists I must demonstrate to him that the girl was not at fault. After receiving her mother’s message, she snacks on some almonds. She argues against having a biased perspective. He inquires, “Do you think I am in the wrong?” She presents her findings and adds that men often take advantage of others, suggesting that the woman may not have had the courage to speak up and seek justice. He commends her for her work and playfully pats her buttocks. In shock, she responds by slapping him. The rest of the office staff watches in silence as she storms out of the room.
