Deewaniyat 23rd December 2024 Written Update: The episode opens with Ranvijay and others treating Dev with kindness. He suggests sending Dev and Mannat home to complete the pagphere ritual as Sakshi desires, and says they can return later. Mannat, however, is visibly upset. When Falak urges her to get ready, she refuses in anger. Gita intervenes, revealing the truth to Mannat—Dev didn’t misbehave with her but in fact saved her. Mannat breaks down emotionally but continues to argue.
Later, Dev and Mannat return to their house and take blessings from the elders. At the entrance, Sakshi stops them and confronts Mannat about speaking poorly of her at her maternal home. She says Gita must have explained things, but Mannat remains silent. Sakshi declares her demand—she wants “good news” of a child within 30 days. Dadu steps in, reminding everyone of the circumstances under which Dev and Mannat were married, asking Sakshi to be more understanding. Jaideep also supports Mannat, while Babita and Anu continue to harass her.
Babita remarks that Dev instructed them to prepare for the couple’s first night. Mannat is shocked and asks if Dev really said that. Anu confirms, adding to Mannat’s confusion and frustration.
Disturbed, Mannat develops a high fever. Tannu tends to her while Dev, saddened, talks to Jeet about his troubles. When Tannu calls him for help, Dev rushes over. The doctor treats Mannat and updates Dev, who decides to stay outside to avoid distressing her. When Mannat’s saline bottle empties, Dev quickly alerts the nurse, who replaces it. Tannu, now sleepy, requests Dev to stay with Mannat for a while. He agrees and gently cares for her.
Mannat eventually wakes up and sees Dev. He tells her she fell sick and that both he and Tannu brought her here. As he leaves, the nurse comments on how much her husband cares. But Mannat misinterprets his concern, thinking it’s just another act. Meanwhile, Anu notices Mannat and Tannu are missing and falsely claims that Mannat has run away. Dev eventually brings both Mannat and Tannu back home.

Alisha visits Dev, hugs him emotionally, and asks when he’s going to marry her. Just then, Mannat arrives, and Dev confesses that he’s already married to Mannat. Heartbroken, Alisha runs out and meets with a severe accident. Dev shouts in horror.
