Vikram addresses the situation by talking to the villagers and confronting Durga, as he believes in fair treatment for everyone. Bai assures Chandini that they will discuss everything with everyone present, so there is no room for denial. She expresses concern about Durga potentially denying the accusations, but Vikram reiterates his determination to do what is right for the village. Anubhav tries to interject, but Vikram clarifies that while he trusts Durga, his responsibility towards the villagers cannot be ignored.
Vikram calls Durga and Rajesh to the village. He says, “I am here because I believe in justice.” Durga is a villager, but I have never differentiated her from my kids. I have always been proud of her, and I have celebrated her victories. I have given her an education because she asked for it. I respected her decision not to marry right now, but I believe in justice.
