Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 13 August 2024 Written Episode begins with singer Shaan delivering a wonderful performance at Savi and Rajat’s engagement. His upbeat songs lift the mood as both the Thakkar and Bhosale families applaud him. Bhagyashree asks Shaan why he is present at the event, and he explains that the venue holds sentimental value because his first performance took place there. He adds that he noticed everyone worried about the sudden power cut, so he decided to entertain them. Shaan wishes Savi and Rajat well before leaving, and Savi gives Rajat a disapproving look.
Rajat informs his family that he has some quick work to finish and walks out without listening to Urmila. Urmila tells her husband that Savi seems unlucky, but he shuts her down. Both families begin to worry due to Rajat’s absence. Harini questions Rajat’s family about his behaviour, feeling embarrassed by his actions. Lucky then arrives and announces that Rajat has returned, leaving everyone relieved.
Aman unexpectedly enters the venue, shocking Mrunmayi and the Bhosale family. Savi confronts Rajat, demanding to know why the man responsible for Mrunmayi’s trauma has come to their engagement. She refuses to proceed with the ceremony if Rajat has gone back on his promise to ensure the culprit is punished. Rajat reassures her that Aman is not guilty and explains that the police have arrested the real offender. He reveals that the police released Aman after the actual culprit was identified.
Mrunmayi feels regretful for assuming Aman was responsible. Lucky internally celebrates as he feels his plan has worked. Rajat tells Mrunmayi that she is like a sister to him and he will never spare the person behind the scandal. He asks if Aman can stay at the engagement with her permission. Aman tells the Bhosale family that he has not done anything wrong and promises to leave if they still cannot trust him. Shantanu stops him and allows him to stay. Rajat’s family expresses gratitude to Shantanu.
The Thakkar family questions Rajat about where he had gone and why he returned late. Aman steps in and reveals that Rajat had fallen asleep in the car and that he was the one who found him and brought him back. Rithi tells Rajat that Aman practically saved him. Bhagyashree asks Rithi to stop teasing and instructs Savi and Rajat to sit for their engagement ritual. The family performs the Goldhana ceremony, and the couple then seeks blessings from their elders. Bhagyashree asks them to feed each other the traditional gol dhana, which they do.
The pandit declares that the Goldhana ritual is complete and asks the bride and groom to exchange rings. Tara rudely comments on Savi’s family’s choice of ring, questioning whether they could not afford a diamond one. Raju criticises Tara and insists the ring is valuable for its emotional meaning. Shantanu agrees. Everyone then urges Rajat to place the ring on Savi’s finger. Rajat does so without issue. Tara mutters that her brother would have bought a diamond ring.
Rajat suddenly checks his pocket and realises he has forgotten Savi’s engagement ring. Bhagyashree quickly offers a solution and tells Rajat to use her engagement ring for the ceremony. Harini taunts the Thakkar family, reminding them of their earlier claim that Rajat would present a diamond ring. Tara snaps back. Savi politely tells Bhagyashree that her ring is not needed and says she is not concerned even if there is no ring at all. She makes a sharp comment at Rajat, which leads to an argument. Rajat insists there is no need to worry and declares that he does have a ring.
