Savi tells Ishaan that he should have informed his family that her sister would leave his house once she got better. Ishaan asks how he could have told her their marriage is useless and she doesn’t want to burden them. She says she will and wants to reach the college before it closes. Ishaan tries to stop her.
Seeing Ishaan as a roadside Romeo, the policeman tries to hit him. When Savi sees him approaching her husband, she warns him not to touch him. The policeman says they should argue at home and not create a scene on the road if they are husband and wife. Ishaan looks at Savi enragedly and walks away.
Ishaan questions Savi about the purpose of her dramatic behaviour. Savi defends herself, tears in her eyes. Ishaan urges her to control her emotions. Savi emphasizes the significance of her scholarship and how she earned it by going through his interview. Despite this, he is still trying to take it away from her. She is determined to expose the truth and fight for what is rightfully hers. However, Ishaan raises a valid concern that if she reveals the invalidity of their marriage, the board members will not accept it as they were married according to rituals. His family’s reputation will be at stake. Savi wonders how this could happen.
Yashwant is planning their reception, and people will say that Bhosales are weird and make jokes about weddings. His family is having trouble with their marriage, and he doesn’t want to make things worse. He says he has one solution. Savi asks if she should forgo her scholarship.
Surekha updates Durva and Anvi about Ishaan and Savi’s reception in two days. She reminds them of their responsibility to organize the event. Duurva dislikes Savi as her sister-in-law and decides not to attend the function. Anvi points out that this might hurt Reeva’s feelings. Surekha clarifies that they are doing this to protect the reputation of the Bhosale family and emphasizes that it is not a request but an order. To lighten the mood, Surekha offers Durva a sweet, but she politely declines. Undeterred, Surekha teases Durva about having good news that will make her want to enjoy sweets. Just then, Reeva enters the room. Surekha reveals that Durva’s scholarship has been revoked, making her overjoyed and causing her to hug Surekha happily.
Ishaan offers to pay Savi’s fees with a cheque, but she refuses. He then reminds her that her scholarship is no longer valid because of their marriage and insists on paying as her husband. However, Savi declines his help, leading to an argument between them. In the meantime, Surekha suggests that Reeva stay at their farmhouse until Ishaan and Savi’s reception so she doesn’t feel left out. Reeva responds by saying that she believes Ishaan will attend the reception even though he may not be happy about it, and she is worried about him. Surekha comments on how much Reeva cares for Ishaan.
Despite his best efforts, Ishan attempts to convince Savi to accept his monetary assistance, but she refuses and continues to argue with him. Savi finally gives up. She calls a newspaper job ad and finds no job. She falls asleep on the desk and hears a message bell, which makes her happy. An interview call for her makes her happy.
