Bhavani inquires with Savi about the sender of the gifts, to which Savi responds that she is unaware. Given Savi’s prolonged stay in Pune, Bhavani suggests informing them if she has a secret boyfriend. Harini interrupts and defends Savi, stating that they all know her and Bhavani should not make baseless accusations. Meanwhile, Isha pays a visit to Surekha and asks about her well-being. Surekha replies that she is doing fine, grateful for the love of her children and God, even if someone may wish otherwise for her longevity.
She prays to God for a long, healthy life and gives her laddus. Surekha promises she will take this laddu after announcing good news to her. Ishan rushes in. Surekha asks Ishan to sit first. Ishan does. She then asks him to feed her water. He does. She says her legs hurt, so she asks a doctor for a painkiller. Ishan presses her feet as she sits.
Surekha says she wants to share good news with them all. Yashwant asks what it is. Surekha says she has decided to get Ishan married to Reeva. Everyone is shocked to hear that. Harini tells Bhavani that Savi never hid anything from them. Bhavani asks why a boy would give precious gifts to Savi when she has seen the world.
Harini says she can doubt anyone and not Savi since Savi struggled to get admission to the Bhosale Institute and won’t make any mistakes, ruin her hard work, waste her time in love, etc. Savi’s grandmother says she is concerned about her; when a boy sends her a gift from Pune to Ramtek, he can do anything for her. She wants to know if she has any gifts like these in Pune. According to Savi, the boy told her he would continue to send gifts.
Surekha is asked what she means by Yashwant. She says she wants to perform Ishan and Reeva’s wedding. Shantanu thinks he should talk to Ishan and Reeva first. Surekha agrees. Isha says Ishan has the right to decide what to do with his life. Surekha plays an emotional card and says Isha is right that Ishan’s mother should decide on his son’s wedding. It doesn’t matter; she should have asked Ishan, too.
Asmita apologizes to Ishan for making his life’s decision and says his mother has no place to question him. Asmita murmurs that Reeva is here to marry Ishan. Surekha asks Reeva what she thinks. Ishan accepts her decision and is ready to marry Reeva as long as Reeva also wants to marry him.
Yashwant asks Reeva to calm down as she is just recovering from a heart attack. Surekha says what happened to the girl suddenly; Reeva was behind Ishan and sought his forgiveness when she proposed their marriage. Surekha says she can’t reply right now. Shantanu says to let Ishan and Reeva decide they shouldn’t force their decision on them; he knows Surekha is recovering from a heart attack, but she has no right to decide for their lives.
As Surekha emotionally blackmails him again, he realizes she has no right over Ishan, and his real parents decide about him. Ishan says she ultimately has a right to his life and that Reeva should tell him about her decision. He asks everyone to leave and let Surekha rest. Isha and Shantanu leave feeling dejected.
Harini brings Rakhi for Savi and Vinayak on a couch. Vinayak says he couldn’t get rakhi this time due to his foolishness. Harini ties him rakhi. Vinayak apologizes to Savi and promises to be with her until the end.
