According to Reet, despite being a challenging route, the truth will ultimately emerge victorious as it often faces opposition. Certain journalists have turned their focus to a cow in the current situation. However, Reet believes that the cow itself will reveal the truth. She suggests that the two brothers involved in a dispute over the ownership of the cow should stand and call out to her, and whoever she chooses will claim her.
As the cow remains stationary, a different journalist taunts her for being unable to add excitement to the news. Reet clarifies that she is not present for that purpose and instead asks a colleague to sing the song he used to sing for the cow. Upon hearing the familiar tune, the cow immediately scampers towards him as everyone applauds in approval.
While driving with his entourage, Raghav Suryavanshi makes a call and confidently states that time is always on his side, ensuring he will arrive at the site on schedule to finalize the business deal. Upon arrival, he encounters Reet and others reporting at the site. Despite Raghav’s manager attempting to clear their path, Reet firmly stands her ground and declares they will not move. Raghav steps out of his car and asserts they must vacate the area.
Reet gazes at him and firmly states that this situation is not a theatrical performance, as we were previously standing up for the truth. Realizing he is running out of time, Raghav directs his request to his manager, Mohit, to provide them with money to convince them to leave. In response, Reet reiterates that one cannot simply purchase the truth. Raghav counters by accusing her reporting of being shallow and easily bought. Reet asserts that individuals cannot be purchased.
As Raghav carelessly tosses cash at her, a crowd clamors to snatch the bills. Despite Reet’s efforts to intervene, the others quickly part ways and make way for Raghav as he sits in his vehicle and begins to drive off. Desperately chasing after him, Reet accidentally spills a bucket of cow dung onto his car. Throwing back his own words at him, she quips that he can use his money to clean up the mess now. She then promptly departs from the scene as Raghav gazes on in astonishment.
At first, Reet asks Virat for a ride home, but he declines and leaves. Moments later, journalist Arvind approaches Reet and suggests she join their news channel for better pay. However, Reet stands by her decision to work for Shekhar because she enjoys it and reminds Arvind to focus on his work. He then brings up her late father’s tragic death in jail, claiming that society cannot be changed in such a manner. These words visibly hurt Reet.
Reet’s brother Dhruv contacts her to announce his acceptance into a college and urges her to return home quickly. Reet hitches a ride with a truck driver, riding alongside a load of fragrant flowers. The driver explains that his employer purchased the flowers for his sibling. Inadvertently, Reet spills milk onto the bouquet she is bringing home. She apologizes and steps down from the truck, remembering the man’s obvious affection for his brother.
As the truck brimming with flowers pulls up to Raghav’s home, he inspects the blooms and inquires about the unpleasant scent. The deliveryman apologizes, explaining that a girl had accidentally spilled milk on them. Appreciative of his honesty, Raghav requests that he bring fresh flowers for his sister Unnati instead. He desires to adorn her life with only bright moments.
As Raghav gazes at the truck, his eyes widen with recognition. He sees ‘mom’ written on it, and the memories of his mother’s departure during childhood flood his mind. Fury builds up inside him, grabs a hammer, and strikes the truck. Suddenly, everyone rushes over to him, including a girl who turns to her aunt Sharda and begs for assistance. Sharda emerges from the crowd without hesitation and manages to calm Raghav down. As she notices his hand bleeding from the impact of the hammer, she becomes greatly concerned.
When Reet arrives home, she immediately approaches Dhruv to congratulate and ask Mata Rani for his successful admission. Dhruv mentions his plans to study and work diligently in Delhi. Chacha joins them and exchanges greetings. Reet then turns to her cousin Smitha and requests assistance with Dhruv’s packing, offering her a phone cover as a token of appreciation. Just then, Reet’s mother intervenes and advises her not to overspend.
Reet reassures her mother not to worry, stating that she has earned the money. Her mother acknowledges Reet’s contribution to running the household with her income. However, Reet insists that her mother does not need to worry as she can handle everything. As Reet receives a message about the college farewell party, she informs Dhruv and urges him to attend before he departs. Dhruv expresses his desire to spend time with Reet before leaving, but this makes Reet melancholic, and she leaves.
Reet sobs in solitude while indulging in some sugary treats. Sharda tends to Raghav’s injured hand and advises, “You shouldn’t dwell on the past. When you hurt yourself, I feel like I have failed as a mother figure.” Raghav reassures her, “Don’t compare yourself to my mother. You have shown Unnati and my love and made us feel at home.” Sharda insists, “Let’s focus on finding a marriage proposal for Unnati.”
Unnati is preparing to wear a modern short dress for her college farewell party, but Bhabhi objects and says she can’t dress like that. Unnati explains that it’s for the party, but Bhabhi insists that Raghav won’t allow her to leave in such a dress. However, Unnati is determined to wear it and convince Raghav as well.
Reet’s mother inquires if she has finished crying. She responds, “I am simply overjoyed for him.” Mohit turns to Raghav and asks for advice regarding the cow dung stain on his suit. Raghav suggests keeping it in his room as a reminder of the girl who gifted him with this blemish.
