Jhanak 15th December 2025 Written Update begins with Putul asking Sanjhbati whether she will continue singing after marriage. Sanjhbati gently tells Putul to focus on her own practice. Putul admits she does not feel like singing. Neelu quickly shifts the topic, saying marriage and honeymoon are more important than music. She suggests a family trip first. Payal happily says she is glad to have a new member joining her side.
Sanjhbati then asks about Jhanak’s whereabouts and requests Mishti to call her. Neelu questions why an outsider needs to be present during a family discussion. Tanushri adds that Jhanak behaves strangely. Sanjhbati calmly explains that she has already spoken to her family about Jhanak, and they want to meet her. Dritimaan calls Jhanak, who comes downstairs and warmly hugs Sanjhbati. Sanjhbati introduces Jhanak to her family and asks why she did not come earlier. Jhanak replies that she did not want to interfere while two families were talking. Sanjhbati reassures her that she is part of the family and asks her to stay.
Jhanak goes inside and returns with snacks. In the process, she accidentally drops the water glasses and becomes anxious. Sanjhbati notices that Mishti did not help her and questions it. Aditi asks Jhanak why she brought so many plates at once. Kaka intervenes and says it is fine. Jhanak offers to clean everything. Neelu taunts her, saying she cannot do even simple work properly. Aditi tells Jhanak she should have been careful. Kaka stops the argument and suggests fixing the engagement on Sunday.
Indumati comes from the kitchen and scolds Jhanak further, making Mishti laugh. Hurt, Jhanak asks Mishti if she feels no shame. Mishti retorts that Jhanak should be ashamed for always creating a mess. When Jhanak questions her insults, Mishti threatens to throw her out of the house. Rishi intervenes and tells Mishti to stop, stating that she is wrong. Kaka again urges everyone not to stretch a small issue. Rishi asks Jhanak to go inside.
Sanjhbati’s mother then speaks up, saying it is wrong to treat Jhanak like a maid, as she is a student and was once the daughter in law of the Chatterjee family. Aditi responds firmly that no one is treating Jhanak like a maid and that pointing out mistakes is not wrong. Dadabhai announces that the engagement will take place on Sunday. Kaka asks Jhanak to participate in all rituals, and Jhanak agrees quietly.
The next day, Dritimaan and Sanjhbati return from shopping. Jhanak prepares to make rangoli. Sanjhbati gently tells Jhanak not to give her rights away to others. Jhanak asks her to leave the matter. Rishi arrives and asks Dritimaan what gifts he brought. Dritimaan replies that he bought something for everyone. Rishi notices Jhanak looking disturbed and asks what happened. Jhanak says she is fine. Sanjhbati reveals that she also bought an outfit for Jhanak and asks her to try it later. Jhanak thanks both Sanjhbati and Dritimaan before they go inside.
Rishi then questions Jhanak about her mood. Jhanak sharply asks why he is concerned and tells him to ask Aditi instead. Rishi understands that she is upset because of the previous day’s incident and says she should have knocked before overhearing their conversation. Jhanak breaks down emotionally, saying she is human and constantly insulted by everyone. She reminds him that she already explained why she stood outside his room. Rishi assures her that he had no issue with her, but Jhanak refuses to believe him. She declares that once her studies are complete, she will return to Simulboni and asks Rishi not to speak to her, saying there is no relationship between them.
Rishi is shocked and insists that there is a relationship. Jhanak coldly replies that whatever existed was only a lie. She tells him she is busy and asks him not to disturb her. She starts working on the rangoli. Hurt and angry, Rishi walks away. Jhanak breaks down in tears, recalling moments spent with him as a melancholic song plays in the background.
Elsewhere, Arshi informs Aniruddh about Sanjhbati and Dritimaan’s marriage. She praises Sanjhbati’s intelligence and mentions she bought gifts for the couple. Aniruddh comments that gifts are fine. Arshi then reveals rumours about Sanjhbati’s mother and Kaka having an affair, but says the Chatterjee family ignored it. Aniruddh says Sanjhbati should not be judged for her mother’s actions. He then complains that Jhanak is blackmailing him and could damage his business if she goes to the media. He claims Jhanak is Parashar’s daughter and questions why he should suffer.
When Arshi asks about his plan, Aniruddh hints that something will happen the next day and someone might die. Arshi appears excited but asks if Aditi will be safe. Aniruddh assures her that Aditi will not be harmed. Arshi asks if this will finally end Jhanak’s chapter. Aniruddh replies that he is trying to resolve the problem.
Later, Dritimaan distributes outfits to family members. Sanjhbati notices Rishi’s seriousness and asks him about it. Rishi says he is fine. Indumati questions why Dritimaan brought her such an expensive saree, while Dadabhai says he already has many clothes. Dritimaan then asks Putul to bring Jhanak. Tanushri interrupts, saying gifts should be given to family members first. Dritimaan insists that he wants to treat Jhanak as family.
Sanjhbati asks Tanushri why she seems upset and reminds everyone that Jhanak was once the daughter in law of the house. She asks Aditi to accept this truth. Aditi firmly responds that the marriage was forced and cannot be considered valid. Sanjhbati argues that Aniruddh took Jhanak’s signature because the marriage existed. Aditi replies that everyone must face their own problems alone.
Putul goes upstairs and asks Jhanak to come down. Jhanak refuses, but Putul forcefully brings her downstairs.
