Jhanak 20th April 2024 Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
Jhanak says Anjana has asked me to do the aarti so that I will do it. Anirudh offers help. She says don’t complicate things, you’ve forced me to stay here. He says you could have left if you wanted. She said I did not intend to disrespect you, so why did you stop me? They ask each other if that’s the only reason. They say yes. He helps her light the diyas. Ek nazar….plays…
He suggests that they perform the aarti together. She objects, afraid of attracting attention and causing a stir, but he encourages her to brush it off as life’s lesson. He reminds her about the call from the ad agency and promises to follow up with them tomorrow. Curious, she asks for details. He wonders what exactly she wants – if she wants to return to Tejas. She quickly declines. He then advises her to make a name for herself before moving out of the house and pursuing her dreams. Confused, she questions his concern for her well-being.
I desire that you become independent and take revenge for the insult so people will praise and respect you. She says this is what you wish for Arshi, not me. He says Arshi is capable; she can do this. There is no one to support you. You have talent. I will be happy for you when you become something. Do not forget to take exams. She says you want me to go to Srinagar and take exams.
It’s essential, Anirudh says. She says Tejas will be there. Anirudh says he’ll talk to the administration and study regularly. He says he’ll buy the books, ask Choton to get them, it’ll help him too. He agrees. He says there’s one month left, and he knows you can do it. She thinks I’ll do aarti, but he says be careful about the fire. She asks why you care about me. He says I don’t know how to answer. She says even I don’t have an answer, so stop worrying. He asks whether you worry about me.
As she agrees, for an unknown reason, their gaze locks, and tears flow. Anjana and Jhanak take charge of the food service while Dadi requests Dadu to bring some sweets. Dadu responds with affection, admitting his love for sweets. Tanuja joins in with a joke, teasing Choton about being financially dependent on Shubh, like Bablu is dependent on his livelihood, and suggests that he should get married. Choton defends himself by mentioning a recent big order he received. Tanuja playfully reminds him of his frequent claims of future success and hopes that he will eventually be able to afford a big house and car. Choton humbly admits that though he dreams of it, he knows it’s not within his means. He expresses his strong attachment to the family home where he was born and raised, stating that though he may venture out into the world, this house will always be where he belongs. Dadi and Dadu are left feeling uneasy at the thought of losing one of their own.
According to Tanuja, you have no ambition or determination. Dadi believes that not everyone succeeds, but their parents love all children equally. I am worried about Choton’s future once we are gone. Tanuja predicts that things will remain the same. Anjana questions her lack of trust and reassures that she will ensure Choton is taken care of. Dadi expresses her concern about finding a daughter-in-law for Choton and wonders how long Anjana can care for him if he gets married. Choton interjects and asks who would agree to marry him. This prompts a sarcastic remark from Tanuja towards Choton. She then turns to Dadu, asking why he is quiet on his pension day.
Dadu expressed disappointment in my son’s lack of success, as he is still unemployed. My heart aches because you may not fully understand the pain I am feeling. Choton, overwhelmed with emotion, shares that he has been trying his best to find a job. Dadi agrees and encourages him to show some progress so they don’t have to hear any more hurtful comments from others. Despite Jhanak’s plea for him to eat breakfast, Choton refuses. Tanuja chimes in sarcastically, joking about how many people are now giving him orders. Jhanak persists and asks Choton to have at least something to eat. However, he remains stubborn and rejects the offer. Dadi warns him that he may regret not eating when food might not be available in the future and then leaves the room. Anjana defends her son against Tanuja’s remarks and gets into an argument with her. Just then, Anirudh enters and overhears their exchange. Tanuja continues to make snide comments, even bringing up Bablu’s name.
She asks Choton to help himself. Dadu says we should leave now. Shubh wants breakfast. He says Dad, you have to collect your pension. Dadu says yes. Anirudh asks Choton to have food. Choton says I’m not hungry. Tanuja asks Anirudh why she taunts Choton. She entirely relies on Dad, and Choton does much for the family. Choton helps us a lot.
In response, Tanuja tells him not to interfere. Anirudh says he always points out that Dad doesn’t run the family alone; Bablu and Choton also contribute. Dad’s contribution is significant; stay alone if you want, and Choton can handle his expenses if he remains alone. She’s right, Choton says. Anirudh says I’ll help dad, dad’s not alone, you don’t have to be constantly insulted, mum always reminds Bablu and Choton don’t earn money; she insults them. Anjana and Choton cry. Anirudh says he thinks it’s time to end this.
