The episode opens with Jhanak expressing her disappointment at not having anyone to celebrate her birthday with this year. She had her mother and friends by her side in the past, but now she is alone. She thanks Arshi for spending time with Rahul instead of staying with her. Arshi then questions why Rahul wanted to speak with Jhanak, to which Anirudh responds that he didn’t bother asking since it doesn’t concern him. He adds that Arshi and her mother can handle all calls from now on, as it is their special day today. Appu eagerly asks for cake, but Tanuja suggests serving it to everyone else first before giving it to Appu. This upsets Anirudh, and Appu starts crying, saying he no longer wants cake. Seeing this, Anirudh asks Jhanak to provide Appu with the cake first.

Jhanak invites Appu to join her, while Arshi offers to give cake to the elders. Jhanak comforts Appu and the others and congratulates Arshi. Anjana asks about Jhanak’s cake, and Rumi apologizes for forgetting to mention it to Jhanak. Anirudh kindly offered his plate of cake to Jhanak, but Arshi suggested that she just have the leftovers instead. Feeling upset, Jhanak reluctantly takes it. However, Arshi then admonishes her about a phone call from Anirudh’s friend or boyfriend late at night, stating that it is impolite to disturb someone in such a manner. Jhanak explains that it was Rahul who called her using Anirudh’s number, but she did not permit him to do so. She also mentioned that Anirudh could have simply disconnected the call if he had had an issue with it. Despite Jhanak’s explanation, Arshi continues to scold her.

If a call comes, do not give me the phone, Jhanak asks. I don’t misbehave. I’m telling the truth, so don’t give me the phone. Arshi says it won’t happen, and you’re coming with me to my house. Jhanak asks why you’re worried about this. Arshi says you’re not so important. Jhanak says even then, I’m brought here against my will. She leaves. Anirudh asks Arshi why did you talk to her. Arshi asks how dare she. Lal and Bipasha scold Jhanak. Anirudh says it’s okay.

As Arshi says, let her come home, I’ll tell mom to fix everything, she has no manners. After making the breakfast, Jhanak talks to her. She says I find you like my mum. Anjana asks why do you call me Aunty? Call me Badomaa. A woman blesses her and says life isn’t always the same. Jhanak says she doesn’t know why this happened.

In addition to life changing, I also have hope, as you have seen Appu’s condition, her father does not have the money to treat her. Everyone can fund the treatment for Appu. Anjana says it’s a lot of money. Jhanak thinks I would have given it to Appu if I had the money. Anjana says I know. I will never forget you, Jhanak says.

Appu asks what’s cooking. Jhanak tells her what’s cooking. They smile. Appu says you’re like a fairy, and I’ll never let you go anywhere, Jhanak. Jhanak gives Appu some food. Anjana says it will be a problem. Appu likes the food and asks for more. Tanuja scolds Jhanak for saying it is Arshi’s birthday, but they still do much for her. Anirudh goes to Jhanak’s room and keeps the flowers and cake. She taunts Anjana. She yells at Appu.

Anjana tries to calm Appu down while Anirudh approaches them, asking for an explanation for why she is shouting. Through tears, Appu confesses that she has eaten some food and has been scolded by Tanuja. Anjana intervenes, telling Appu not to eat the food anymore. However, Chotan enters, and Anjana again insists that Appu should not eat the food. Emotions run high as both Anjana and Jhanak cry over the situation. Jhanak defends herself, saying that she only wants to make Appu happy and questions Tanuja’s actions as a mother. In response, Tanuja warns Jhanak to stay in her place or be kicked out of the house.
