Nandini informs Surbhi that they live without the concept of dowry and are unfazed by societal expectations. They simply value food and sweets and possess a deep capacity for love, which unfortunately is not reciprocated by the increasingly selfish humans around them. Mami intervenes, advising Nandini not to mention these things to Surbhi. She then offers Nandini a plate of food, reminding her that if she does not eat, her uncle Ishwar also won’t have anything. Despite initially refusing, Nandini ultimately convinces her uncle to join her for dinner.

Nandini goes to give the food to her aunt but she says Nandini should give it to her uncle, she replies he is eating otherwise people would say that the orphan girl did not care about the favour of her aunt, Mami asks Nandini to also eat while first massaging the feet of Heeta Baa, Nandini sits up straight away to eat and even asks Nandini who leaves, revealing that she will eat after massaging Heeta Baa’s feet.

Mehul is preparing to leave, having offered to massage Baa’s feet. However, she insists on Nandini’s care instead. Meanwhile, the children are expecting Mehul to take them to the festival, but he explains that he has to leave for work. Nandini steps in and offers to take them, much to their delight. Before he goes, Mehul receives a blessing from Heeta Baa and attempts to speak with Nandini, but first confirms if Ishwar is still downstairs before taking his leave. In the meantime, Heeta Baa brings up how Mehul shared his experience at Visakha’s house. Nandini offers to scold Visakha as well, but Heeta Baa defends her, citing tradition as the cause of the problem rather than any individual person. To illustrate her point, Nandini shows Heeta Baa examples of similar customs in the past that have since been deemed unacceptable and changed accordingly.

Heeta Baa compliments Nandini’s clever comment, despite disagreeing with her approach. Nandini reflects on the sacrifices made by Johti, Savita, and Surbhi in order to bring about change. Heeta Baa embraces Nandini, noting that society is often afraid of change and fails to see it as an opportunity for improvement. In response, Nandini reminds Heeta Baa that they all play a part in shaping society and must be willing to change their own behavior. Heeta Baa commends Nandini but offers some advice, suggesting she asks questions without causing harm to others’ feelings, as questions can sometimes worsen issues. She then instructs Nandini to go downstairs as she must leave for the festival.

As Nandini greets Mami upon entering the house, she mentions having to leave for the festival tomorrow. However, her statement is met with stunned looks from Mami, Ishwar, and Mitesh. Puzzled, she asks the reason for their reaction. It turns out that Mehul called and Nandini responds that he had just left for Bhaunagar. Ishwar speculates that Mehul may not have had the courage to tell her something to her face and may have discussed it with Naren instead. This leads Nandini to inquire if it has something to do with Visakha and if they are planning their marriage. Mami interjects, revealing that while Naren has agreed to get married, it’s not to Visakha but rather Nandini herself. This leaves even Ishwar taken aback as he recalls that Naren had gone to meet Visakha but ended up developing feelings for Nandini instead. Concerned about what they will say to Shetal Bai, Mitesh chimes in saying they discovered the truth about Naren through his sister’s actions. However, Mami reprimands him for insinuating that Nandini purposely tried to get

In the morning, Nandini performs the Arti before giving the food to Surbhi. As they sit together, Nandini inquires if Surbhi gets bored of eating the same grass every day, just as she gets tired of having the same food. Ishwar arrives with a book for Nandini, which she eagerly admires but is unable to take from him. She asks when he brought it, and Ishwar informs her that it was yesterday. Nandini regrets not being able to read it sooner. Ishwar questions if she had any time yesterday and mentions how she enjoys having berries while reading. Nandini acknowledges his understanding and credits it as Maa Saraswathi’s blessing. She expresses her dream of becoming a doctor, but thanks Ishwar for at least making her desires come true in some way. She reminds him of all he has done for them and promises to pay for her nursing course herself. Before leaving for work, she urges him to go as well since teachers have to reach school before students do. Ishwar advises her to return before dark.

While driving, Naren spots Nandini’s scooty and stops. He waits next to it, until he notices her sitting on a tree, engrossed in a book. She asks him why he hasn’t left yet and declares she will teach him a lesson for making demands about Mehul’s marriage. As she receives a call, Nandini goes up to take it and the boy reminds them they have to go to the festival. Before leaving, Nandan tells Naren not to attempt seeing her again. Despite his efforts to calm her down, Naren remains rooted in his spot as she departs.

When the car stops, Ishwar is walking out of the school and Parag says he bid for the farm because his boss still likes it and is willing to pay twice as much for it. Ishwar replies that he does not want to sell it. Parag tries to give his card and says he can convince his boss to give him three times as much as he wants if he wants to sell it, but he leaves while Ishwar just thinks about it.

While at the festival with the children, Nandini is asked to go first. Despite her attempts to refuse, they push her forward. Unfortunately, she misses the target and asks the children to cover the cost. Spotting Naren at the festival, she enlists Montu to give it a try, but becomes scared when she sees him. The children then ask her to make another attempt and she imagines Naren’s photo as the target, allowing her to hit all remaining darts on it. As they leave, both children decline to sit on the swing and Nandini agrees to take a turn. She instructs them to stay put while quickly hopping on the swing as they jump along beside her.

While Nandini attempts to take a selfie, she wonders why she is seeing Naren, and she asks the brother to stop the swing, but Naren tells her to calm down, as otherwise people would think badly of him. Nandini asks how he got on the swing, and he replies he bought it. Naren tries to call Nandini, but she walks out of the swing angrily. As Nandini leaves with Montu and the other child, the people start beating Naren because she is teasing her.

Ishwar hears Nandini and Mitesh vows not to let him get away, Mami stops them all saying dinner is ready, Nandini goes out but calls Ishwar after seeing a boy injured, Ishwar asks about his identity, Nandini answers Naren Ratensi, Ishwar informs Mitesh he is her uncle and her guardian, he informs Naren is from a respectable family and such actions don’t seem nice, so he should return, Mitesh tries to fight Naren but Ish stops him,

In the festival, Naren says he tried to talk to Nandini, but she wasn’t ready. Nandini wonders why she should listen to him since he came to their house after he had been severely beaten. Naren says he was thinking of marriage when he came here, Ishwar replies the marriage proposal was from Vishaka, and he liked her as well, while Nandini’s family is also ready to meet all of his family’s conditions, so Naren is unable to answer anything else.
