The brother asks who will attend the meeting, and Hemraj gets furious when he replies that the person who is supposed to be married is not here. Chanchal says she will call Naren as soon as possible.
After washing his hands, Naren returns to find Nandini holding the towel. His mother calls and asks Naren where he is, and Naren replies that he must stay back to attend the wedding and that driving at night is also dangerous. Hemraj takes the phone and asks Naren to leave now because they have an essential meeting in the evening. According to Nandini, she sent him the pudding.
Ronak says he’ll come right now, Hemraj asks what he said, Ronak replies that Naren has always obeyed his order, Hemraj mentions that whatever the elders do is for the children’s benefit and they do it after thinking it out, so everyone needs to pay attention. Hemraj gives the first bite to Anousya Baa when she says that Hem is always right.
Naren comes when Ishwar asks him to have the dish as it tastes delicious after eating; Naren mentions he needs to leave right now as there is an important meeting; Ishwar agrees and then asks where Nandini is. Manri, who performed the pooja, explains that Nandini was serving the dish but is now lost. As Ishwar tries to contact Nandini, but her phone is at home, Naren informs him there is no need for concern because his father is punctual.
As Naren makes his way out, he receives Dadi’s blessings and exchanges greetings with Mehul and Mitesh. While in his car, he continues his search for Nandini, but she remains elusive. Frustrated, he drives off while the rest of the family heads back inside. Just as Nandini arrives with the pudding, she rushes into the house, calling out for Naren, only to be told by Manri that he had just left. Shocked by this news, Manri asks her whereabouts, but Nandini hastily leaves on her scooter.
Ishwar says it would be good if they both met, but Manri prays they should meet forever. As Nandini rides her scooter on the small roads, she suddenly gets stopped by a boy, and she starts panicking after Naren touches her during their ride in the night, telling him that the important thing about small roads is that you become close to each other very fast. As she turns back, she smiles but gets heartbroken when she does not see Naren.
When Nandini sees Naren driving, she thinks it is just an illusion, however as soon as the car reverses, she smiles, realizing Naren is there. When Nandini sees him, Naren also removes his seatbelt to step outside the car. Nandini starts running towards him with all her might, stops right in front of him while breathing heavily, and asks why he left so quickly, asking if he could not have stayed longer.
Naren explains that he attempted to contact her, but she had left her phone behind. He also searched for her, causing him to run late. Nandini notes that their story is unfinished. Naren clarifies that one aspect of the story is complete, and the other will be concluded when he arrives in Rajkot. He promises to speak with his father about their marriage. Nandini mentions discussing everyone from his life, including Jigar, Kunal, and Ronak. Naren inquires if she remembers all of his family members. She responds that she must recall the names of those she will live with. She then adds that she went to bring the famous pudding from Upleta.
According to Naren, while they may all be characters in this story, he holds the role of King, and she is his Queen. As he contemplates leaving, Nandini becomes emotional once again. Gently raising her face, Naren urges her not to shed any more tears. Using his fingers to wipe away the fallen ones, he reminds Nandini that she should save them for when she eventually gets married. As he promised, Naren heads towards his car, assuring her that their story will not remain unfinished. Before getting in, he turns back and takes hold of both of her hands, reaffirming his promise and kissing her forehead. Nandini stands on the roadside as Naren departs after bidding her farewell.
Hemraj tells Sujan he must see Baa first as they are all from her. Sujan agrees, saying they should meet her mother. The sister calls Joyou, saying that both mother and sister have come wearing a lot of jewelry, but Joyou says that Sujan is very wealthy and has shown his actual wealth. She warns Rupa that if she brings more dowry, she will try to overpower them.
Hemraj requests Sujan to bring his slippers over here. Meanwhile, Anousya Baa reprimands Meral for forgetting the flowers. However, Hemraj steps in to introduce himself, and Chanchal announces that she has brought someone along with her. Anousya interrupts and speculates that it could be her brother or sister-in-law. Hemraj clarifies that Sujan has come with his family to discuss the proposal for Naren. With respect, Sujan’s wife and daughter also seek blessings from everyone present. Anousya begins examining the daughter closely while Baa suggests that if Hemraj approves, they should proceed to finalize the proposal. Sujan agrees and adds that the mother was charming during their meeting.
Sujan sits with Hemraj, but the daughter puts the glass on. Chanchal asks if she doesn’t like the juice, but the daughter replies that the tea shouldn’t also have hair in it. Hemraj asks Kinjil, so she brings another glass and asks Kirti what she is studying, but she says MA, Ba, causing Kinjil to become worried and leave.
Chanchal inquires about Kirti’s age, prompting Kavita to turn to Sujan for an answer. According to him, Kirti recently turned eighteen. Changing the subject, Kinjil informs Heta of her pursuit of a unique degree. Samta speculates that it could be a medical degree. Dhawal wonders if she is still studying, but Sujan interjects that she has always preferred household chores over academics. Chanchal mentions the importance of having a degree to maintain balance in life, but Kavita argues that their ancestors could thrive without one. Kinjil returns to the kitchen as Heta comments on not creating relationships but engaging in business transactions. Samta adds that money can cover up any shortcomings.
In the Mandir, Sujan and Kavita push Kinjil. Chanchal tells Hemraj that she is young and doesn’t even have an education, so what kind of relationship is this? She adds that Naren would never agree to it because he has an MBA. Chanchal can train her once she becomes a member of their family. He suggests she should not push the wealth into their home. Hemraj replies that she will bring a lot of dowry.
