When Nandini points out that they had misjudged Naren and his intentions, Ishwar walks closer to them. Naren thanks Ishwar for not apologizing for asking for dowry, as he had no other option. They now need to locate Visakha, and Naren suggests trying to change the outdated traditions by convincing her parents. However, Ishwar interrupts to mention that Hamend and Shetal see them both as guilty and they need to disclose the truth. To save time, Nandini offers to take Naren on her scooty. Ishwar agrees, stating that he will complete the necessary paperwork for Naren’s release in the meantime.
Nandini is seated on her scooty while Naren remains standing. Sensing his discomfort, she offers to let him ride instead. However, he declines, claiming that one’s respect is not lost by riding behind a girl. As they continue with Nandini driving, she notices that Naren seems to be struggling to sit comfortably. Just then, a group of children approach and Naren apologizes for getting too close to Nandini. She then mentions the tendency of small towns to quickly accept people as their own. Curious, Naren asks if she has already accepted him as her own. In response, Nandini questions whether he is not in a rush. Naren admits that he is in fact in a hurry to find Visakha. To make the ride more manageable for him, Nandini suggests placing his hand on her shoulder but he assures her that he can handle it without assistance.
As Hitesh and Shetal sit, the doorbell interrupts their conversation. Shetal predicts it’s Visakha, but Hitesh warns her not to answer if it is. Calming down, Shetal reminds him that Visakha is their daughter. Upon opening the door, they are greeted by Nandini and Naren. Nandini explains that she ran away because of a problem and urges Hitesh to accept the relationship between Visakha and Vinet. She acknowledges that they have a modern mindset, but cautions against assuming they are always wrong. Disapprovingly, Hitesh mentions that Visakha has eloped with someone from a different religion. Naren counters by pointing out that she is simply following her heart and wanting to marry someone of her own choice. Hitesh challenges Naren’s right to defend Visakha and vows to teach Vinet a lesson for his actions.
According to Naren, they are both adults capable of making their own decisions. Hitesh, on the other hand, believes that Visakha did not consider their feelings. Naren also points out that Hitesh did not care for her emotions and even attempted to arrange a marriage for her in order to avoid any negative consequences for himself. Naren shares that he has met Vinet, who is an educated and kind person. He adds that Vinet’s stance against dowry speaks highly of his character, but unfortunately, all they can see is his societal background which was not his choice. Naren poses the question, “What if he had been born into their society?”. In response, Hitesh asks why it matters now that Visakha has run away. However, Nandini interjects and reminds them that Visakha is still in Upleta and they have the power to stop her from leaving if both Hitesh and Shetal agree.
While Ishwar is charging his mobile, Mami enters the room and Ishwar walks to the other side. She asks why he sent Nandini with a complete stranger and that is not right. Ishwar says he trusts Nandini a lot, but Mami sits with Ishwar saying she would be blamed for not caring for Nandini, so she starts hitting Mitesh when he asks why.
Ishwar receives a call from Nandini, who shares that Hitesh has agreed to meet Visakha and Vinet. She suggests that he join them at Hitesh’s house. However, Ishwar continues to scold her until she realizes her aunt is near him. She asks for a sign, which Ishwar gives, and then informs him that she and Naren have arrived at his hotel and will travel in his car. She asks for his permission through the sign, which he grants. Naren and Nandini then leave. Mami questions why Ishwar scolded Nandini so harshly, as now they’ll have to cheer her up. She instructs both Ishwar and Mitesh to head to Hitesh’s house, and they do so without further discussion.
While seated with Naren, Nandini experiences discomfort and expresses remorse for her previous behavior. In response, Naren assures her that any girl with self-respect would have acted similarly and even compliments her actions. He turns on the music and shares his love for songs, to which Nandini agrees. As they both listen to the music, Naren is clearly enjoying it while Nandini reflects on how she had misjudged him due to the circumstances with Mami’s revelation about his intentions to marry her instead of Visakha.
Naren and Nandini arrived at the Gojraj Haveli and tried to contact Visakha and Vinet, but were unable to locate them. Nandini became anxious and reached out to Visakha while Naren called Vinet. She asked Naren if they had already left for Rajkot, wondering how they would explain the situation to Hitesh and Shetal. While searching upstairs, they spotted Visakha and Vinet outside and called out to them. When they reached them, Nandini inquired where they were headed, but Visakha replied that nothing had changed and they were catching a bus. Visakha then asked about Naren’s well-being with Nandini.
In spite of the long story, Naren says she should not run away, and her parents have agreed to meet them both. When Visakha says it’s a trap, Nandini tells her that her parents raised her, so she should trust them at the very least. Naren also explains she should give her parents a chance, and Naren even holds Vinet’s hand to show his agreement. Nandini and Naren both smile and leave.
As Shetal opens the door, the bell rings. Visakha stands in front of her while Hitesh remains seated. The two embrace, tears streaming down their faces. Naren signals Vinet to approach Hitesh and talk to him. Vinet takes a seat across from Hitesh and apologizes, explaining that they simply ran away without considering anything else. It was only after Naren’s suggestion that they thought to reach out to him. Vinet acknowledges that he comes from a different class, but assures Hitesh that he does not require or desire any dowry and is able to provide for Visakha’s happiness on his own.
Vinet has made it known to his parents that he and Hitesh are in a relationship, so there is no need for any further convincing. Hitesh gestures for Vinet to stand up and explains that he will follow the tradition of speaking to Vinet’s parents about their marriage plans. Visakha embraces her emotional father, and Hitesh clarifies that if they request an automatic car and gold, he will have to decline. However, Visakha reveals that Naren had lied, resulting in the rejection of their proposal. Hitesh expresses his gratitude towards Naren for his considerate behavior, which is a reflection of his upbringing. Naren acknowledges that Nandini also played a role in it, as Ishwar apologizes to him. But Naren rushes over to Ishwar and reminds him that elders need not apologize but simply bestow their blessings upon their children. As Nandini watches with a smile on her face.
