Kumkum Bhagya 20th December 2024 Written Episode Update begins with reporters questioning RV about why he stopped and refused to complete the final wedding round. They remind him that the marriage is a court order and if he does not complete it, he could be jailed. They ask whether he is ready to face imprisonment.
RV firmly asks them to stop and says he is a human being with feelings. He explains that not every situation can be judged from the same angle. He says his family is standing with him because they cannot see him in distress. Nethra insists the family should support them because the marriage is court mandated and they should be happy. She asks Pandit ji to begin the final round.
Just then, Poorvi runs in yelling RV’s name and asks him to stop the marriage. Harleen calls out to her and Harman thanks God she has returned. Dadi tells Pandit ji that Poorvi wants to speak. Nethra panics, wondering where Jassi and Monisha disappeared and how Poorvi reached there.
Poorvi reaches RV. He asks where she was and whether she is alright. Poorvi avoids explaining and opens the gathbandhan, declaring that the marriage will not take place.
Everyone is stunned. Jassi hides, afraid the family will recognise him. Nethra asks why Poorvi is doing this and warns that if the marriage stops, RV will go to jail. Poorvi tells her to keep quiet and says Nethra will not lie anymore. Nethra asks what lie she is talking about. Poorvi says everything Nethra told the world is false. She says Nethra lied about RV molesting her and forcing himself on her. She says Nethra lied to the media, police and the entire world, and RV only agreed to marry her because he believed she needed justice.
Nethra asks who told her this. Poorvi replies that Nethra herself revealed it. The reporter intervenes and says this is a huge allegation, and if Poorvi claims Nethra lied, she must prove it or everyone involved will face consequences.
Jassi tries to escape, but Khushi and Diya catch him. Khushi says they will not let him leave until he reveals the truth. Dadu asks what truth. Diya reveals Jassi is the man who has been troubling Poorvi. Khushi pulls off his fake beard, exposing his identity. Reporters take pictures. They ask Poorvi how she will prove Nethra lied.
Poorvi instructs Yug to arrange a big screen and tells Vikrant to call the police. She says today the truth will be out. Jassi runs, RV chases him and catches him. Jassi claims innocence, but RV refuses to listen. Jassi hits RV and tries to run again. Jaswant arrives and helps restrain him. RV beats Jassi and drags him back inside, saying this time Jassi will face punishment.
Yug brings the screen. Poorvi asks Diya to connect her phone. Yug says he will handle the setup. Nethra worries that Poorvi recorded their conversation. Jassi also fears the evidence. The police arrive. Poorvi says she already informed them because she wanted them to see everything firsthand.
Before the video plays, Nethra tries to gain sympathy and claims that once again injustice is happening with her. She says the marriage was ordered by the court because RV wronged her. She repeats that RV molested her. Poorvi firmly stops her and says she has played with the lives of others.
Poorvi says when a woman truly faces injustice, law and society support her, but Nethra used that trust to deceive everyone. She says the police helped her, the media fought for her and the judge ruled in her favour, but she mocked the system and betrayed everyone.
Nethra denies the accusations, but Poorvi says she has been lying since the beginning. She reveals that Nethra planned everything for money and trapped RV. She exposes that Nethra works as a bar dancer and used her story to manipulate people.
Nethra shouts at her and says there is no shame in her profession and she worked hard to survive. She explains how her mother left her and her father remarried, leaving her alone. She became a bar dancer to support herself.
Poorvi says helplessness is not an excuse for wrongdoing. She shares an example of her neighbour who also struggled but chose honest work, carrying heavy sacks, studying, teaching children and doing household work until she became a nurse. Poorvi says everyone has a choice between the right path and the wrong one, and Nethra chose deceit.
Khushi supports Poorvi and says her sister never accuses anyone without reason. She says she has seen how low Nethra can stoop.
RV steps in and tells Nethra to stop blaming others to cover her mistakes. Nethra then accuses RV of killing her boyfriend. RV denies it. Jassi signals Deepika. Nethra says RV sent goons to kill Sahil and should be jailed.
Poorvi screams at her not to accuse her husband. She says RV is innocent and her pride. She says if someone throws mud at the sky, it falls back on them. Poorvi says the video will expose everything and tells Nethra to stay silent. Nethra panics and tries to unplug the cable, but Harleen and Vaishali stop her.
Deepika looks for Monisha and finds her tied with tape. She frees her and informs her that Poorvi is about to show a video proving Nethra trapped RV. Monisha is shocked.
Precap: The video shows Nethra admitting to Jassi that she acted and faked molestation. Poorvi declares that Nethra falsely accused RV. Jassi reveals Nethra planned her boyfriend’s murder. Poorvi warns Monisha that her truth will come out next. She says since no molestation happened, RV will not marry Nethra. Nethra stands shocked.
