In the Kumkum Bhagya episode aired on 29th August 2024, Purvi’s risky plan to expose Neha faces an unexpected twist as Neha’s relationship ends, changing the dynamics of the entire game.

The episode begins with Purvi telling RV that she wants him to pretend to marry Neha. Khushi, surprised, asks her to explain. Purvi clarifies that this is the only way to expose Neha’s intentions, and they’ll call off the wedding at the last moment. RV initially refuses, worried that she’s trying to separate them. But Purvi reassures him that she’s only asking for an act and promises nothing will go wrong. She asks for his trust, and RV nods, agreeing to go along with her.

Purvi then tells Khushi it’s time for a new drama to reveal the truth. Khushi urges her to meet Armaan, and Purvi agrees, stating she trusts RV even more than herself.

Meanwhile, Jasbir escapes from Sahil and drives away. Sahil confronts Neha, questioning her relationship with Jasbir. He accuses her of hiding Jasbir in her home and refuses to hear her explanation. Purvi defends Khushi, saying she’s just short-tempered, but RV disagrees. Purvi brings up the past between RV and Khushi, based on what Khushi told her. RV realizes Khushi hasn’t revealed the whole truth and decides it’s time to come clean.

Before he can speak, Yug and Diya rush in, revealing that Neha just had a major breakup with her boyfriend. This changes everything. Purvi tells RV this is a big problem, as she was sure Neha wouldn’t go through with marrying him. But now, with her boyfriend gone, Neha might say yes to the wedding, putting their plan in jeopardy.

Monisha overhears the conversation and hatches a new plan. She meets Neha and Jasbir and explains why Purvi agreed to sign the divorce papers earlier — she was confident Neha would back out of marrying RV. But now that Neha’s breakup is public, Purvi won’t sign the papers. Monisha cleverly suggests that Neha should pretend to patch up with her boyfriend, so Purvi believes there’s no danger and signs the papers.

Jasbir praises Purvi’s intelligence, but Monisha insists that her plan is the only way forward now. Neha agrees to act accordingly.

At the Malhotra mansion, Monisha casually asks Harleen why she looks upset. Harleen bluntly says that if Neha becomes the daughter-in-law of their house, she’ll make everyone’s life miserable — clearly opposing the alliance.
