Kumkum Bhagya 5th November 2024 Written Episode begins with Yug asking Diya to answer him. He threatens to reveal that Bhabhi has kept a fast, even though the doctor and family told her not to. Diya pleads with him and says she trusts him completely, knowing he will not expose Poorvi. Yug guesses that Poorvi has kept the fast for Bhai’s long life. Diya explains that it is out of love, just as Poorvi wants to protect RV as he once saved her from death. She says these customs hold deep meaning in their family and Poorvi is devoted to them.

Elsewhere, Harman brings chilled water for Dadu, but Jaswant and Vikrant stop him, saying the women will feel thirsty. Vaishali assures Dadu to drink without worry. Deepika asks Monisha to call RV as the puja is about to start. Monisha soils her clothes on purpose and insists on cleaning them, though Deepika reminds her she cannot leave.

RV argues with Poorvi, urging her to value her health over Karwachauth. He tells her the fast is not worth risking her life. Poorvi refuses and says she cannot see the devotion as a burden. She recalls how her mother observed the ritual for her father, and insists this tradition means more to her than her own life. RV tries to reason, but she asks him not to stop her. Saddened, she leaves for the puja. Monisha notices their tension and decides to use it to her advantage. She fakes dizziness before RV, who immediately supports her. Poorvi sees this and walks away in silence.

As everyone gathers for the puja, Harman and Jaswant ask Poorvi to rest, but she insists on participating. Dadu defends her, saying her heart is pure. Dadi and others question her right to sit in the ritual without fasting, but Harleen allows it. RV praises Monisha for being truthful about her fast, while indirectly criticising Poorvi. Monisha claims this is her first Karwachauth and requests to hear the katha from Harleen. Poorvi also expresses her happiness that she too will hear the story during her first Karwachauth.

Harleen narrates the katha and reminds the women that devotion ensures their husbands’ long lives. Each woman passes the aarti plate. Harleen blesses Monisha that her suhaag will always love her, which makes Monisha happy. When Poorvi touches her feet, Harleen first blesses her to recover soon, but at Poorvi’s insistence she also blesses her with a long married life and her husband’s safety. Monisha feels jealous while RV listens silently. Later, Monisha again pretends to be dizzy, and RV takes her to her room. Jaswant and Harman disapprove, feeling Poorvi is being neglected, while Vikrant supports RV’s actions.

In the room, Monisha thanks RV for caring and asks if they can always stay together, reminding him that she fasted for him. RV recalls Poorvi’s words about fasting for emotions, not show off. Monisha takes his brief reply as confirmation of her hope. Meanwhile, Poorvi confides in Diya that RV has learned about her fast and is upset. She feels RV is now favouring Monisha to make her jealous. Poorvi insists she is not jealous but admits she is deeply angry. Diya hugs her as she breaks into tears.
