When Prachi thinks about Pallavi’s threat and Ranbir’s love confession in an inebriated state, Ranbir apologizes to Prachi. He claims that he shouldn’t have done that because he was drunk. The question Prachi asks is why all men are the same, why they cross their limits and do whatever they want, and why girls make mistakes.
Her response is that I haven’t done anything wrong and that I just care about love, not anything else. Manpreet listens to them and tells Ranbir that Prachi will speak to her. Prachi says she is venting her anger for Akshay on you, and she asks Ranbir not to feel bad. Ranbir refuses and leaves. Prachi is seated by Manpreet, who holds her hand and says women have always given agni pariksha, and that it is sadly that the right woman has to go through it all.
She tells her I don’t want you to bear anything, as I am with you. Prachi asks her to forgive Akshay this time, and says next time if he does something, I will shield you in front of him. She says her mother has not been with her for many years, but now you are the one who loves me. He hugs her and says he understands her pain, and asks her to leave.
You may forget this incident if you watch a movie, go for a trip, or spend time with someone who gives you peace and happiness. Prachi hugs her and Manpreet promises to make you something. Vishaka hears them and remembers Manpreet’s promise to Prachi and suggesting that she go out with friends and spend time with someone who gives her happiness.
Vishaka interrupts Akshay’s phone call and instructs the person on the other end to end the conversation. She then turns to him and quietly urges him to take Prachi away while she speaks with someone. Manpreet leans in to Prachi and reveals that Mihika had a habit of hiding sweets in her cupboard. Mihika playfully challenges Prachi, saying she can expose her secrets completely. Prachi reminds her that this was something she had previously shared with her. In response, Mihika praises Prachi for being the best and claims there is no one like her, not even herself. Ranbir discreetly glances at Prachi as Pallavi notices and cautions him against looking at her in that manner. Feeling regretful, Ranbir confesses that he made a mistake and is now feeling immense remorse. Pallavi presses for details but Ranbir refuses to share, leaving abruptly.
Vishaka requests Akshay to speak. Akshay informs Prachi that he has a business trip planned to Manali and invites her to join him. However, Prachi declines, citing her responsibilities in the upcoming family wedding. Manpreet then suggests that Prachi should go and assures her that they will manage everything without any difficulties. Pallavi agrees with Manpreet’s suggestion and encourages Prachi to go. Remembering Pallavi’s previous warning, Prachi hesitates. Sensing her hesitation, Akshay pulls Prachi aside and reminds her that she had accused him of doing her a favor by bringing Khushi into their lives. He pleads with her to return the favor, or else his family may become suspicious of their relationship.
Manpreet inquires with Prachi about their conversation. She explains that Akshay has suggested canceling the office meeting because they will be going to Manali tomorrow. Manpreet grins. Meanwhile, Akshay secures the honeymoon suite at a hotel in Manali. Just then, Vishaka approaches him. Akshay informs her that Prachi has agreed to go on the trip, and that’s why he booked the hotel room. He expresses his excitement for a real honeymoon this time, unlike their previous conversation-only experience. Vishaka expresses her happiness, believing that this will solidify their relationship like a true Kumkum Bhagya (Indian TV show). She believes Akshay will finally make Prachi his own, unlike their current fake situation. Ranbir overhears and smiles, realizing there is nothing romantic between them after all.
Despite the fact that no one is here to do the work, Manpreet tells Pallavi that she will do it and asks her to tell. Akshay arrives. Manpreet asks Akshay to get the flowers and asks Vishaka to keep them. She asks Ranbir to bring the stuff from the storeroom according to the puja. Mihika says she will show you. Pracho gives the keys to them. Pallavi goes behind Prachi. She said she searched for a chance to talk to you, but she did not get it.
Prachi explains that her presence here was merely an excuse and she has no intention of caring for anyone. She also clarifies that she does not want to be associated with her son or spend time around him. Prachi questions why anyone would assume she still has feelings for him, as they have both moved on. However, Pallavi disagrees and mentions seeing them in a drunken state, deeply infatuated with each other. Prachi defends herself, stating that it’s common for emotions to run high in such a state and is disappointed that Pallavi would judge her based on that one moment. She firmly states that she is not interested in her son.
According to her, this is not only my household and family, but also includes my husband who loves me deeply. I used to comprehend why Ranbir struggles to grasp things immediately, and now you seem to be doing the same. In regards to the upcoming business trip with my spouse, she insists that we simply want to spend quality time together. Apparently, Akshay cannot stand the thought of me being with Ranbir or anyone else because he truly loves me and claims that where there is true love, there will always be a hint of jealousy. Just so you know, I have experienced more of the world than you have, and my son happens to be older than you are; therefore, please refrain from assuming that I lack understanding.
Prachi and Mihika discuss Pallavi’s behavior towards them. While Prachi believes that Pallavi doesn’t like her, she admires Mihika and trusts her. Mihika inquires about Pallavi’s opinion of her as a future mother-in-law, to which Prachi responds that she loves Ranbir and may not approve of their relationship. As they chat, Pallavi enters the room and asks for the key before heading to the washroom. Mihika continues the conversation by asking Prachi about the other family members. Meanwhile, Pallavi ponders whether they are discussing her behind her back and decides to make an effort to be kinder to Mihika, considering that she will be living with them after marriage.
Mihika and Prachi enter the storeroom, where Ranbir is already present. He mentions that he’s there to retrieve some items. Mihika then hops onto a nearby table while Ranbir hands her the puja supplies. She proceeds to put them away. While this is happening, Ranbir takes hold of Prachi’s hand and apologizes, but she requests for him to let go. Observing the interaction, Mihika grabs another item and stores it away before coming back to see Ranbir holding Prachi’s hand. He expresses his desire to speak with her, but Prachi declines and walks away. Mihika approaches them and asks what happened, to which Ranbir thanks her for not being like Prachi. Mihika responds with a smile.
The detective shares with Akshay that Ranbir and Prachi attended the same college, where he affectionately called her chikchiki. Rumor had it that they were quite close and Ranbir even got into a fight with the Minister’s son over her. Eager to learn more, Akshay asks the detective to gather more information before leaving. Turning to Ranbir, Akshay inquires about this chikchiki person. However, Ranbir refuses to answer and Akshay reminds him of his nickname for Prachi – chikchiki. Admitting to it, Ranbir explains that he used to call her that out of frustration because she would constantly make annoying sounds. But deep down he loved her dearly, despite her chik chik habit.
