Mangal hugs Lakshmi. She says you made me proud today. I am so happy to see your bond with Karthik. You did the right thing by telling him the truth. He is counting on you. Maintain his trust in you and deepen the relationship. She asks why you didn’t tell me. Lakshmi replies, “I didn’t want you to worry.” Mangal says he’s happy Karthik is with you. I’m so glad you’ve got such a fantastic life partner. Lakshmi hugs her and cries. She asks Mangal to get Lakshmi ready. Lakshmi feels happy.
Kusum inquires Karthik if Lakshmi divulged the culprit’s identity. Karthik confirms but mentions that it’s not a topic for discussion. Kusum agrees and shifts her attention to Gayatri, who is speaking with Shanti. Shanti questions her about a new house, and Gayatri warns her to keep it quiet. She clarifies that it’s not a gift for Shanti but rather a means to protect her reputation. Gayatri elaborates that she doesn’t want anyone hurt during their visit to Karthik’s in-laws’ home due to unfinished construction work. She assures Shanti that everything will be taken care of. Shanti expresses her gratitude, but Gayatri insists it’s not a favour and embraces her. Kusum interrupts, wondering what is happening. Gayatri casually states that there is nothing noteworthy going on.
As Lakshmi comes downstairs, Karthik says the situation is now fine. Everyone applauds her. People say she looks so elegant—like a princess. Papa says, “Kusum, you’ve made a great couple.” Bhushan embraces Lakshmi. Shanti shoves her and tells her, “My daughter, Lakshmi. You look great together. My blessing, my daughter. You’re my Lakshmi.” Gayatri suggests the kids meet others as well.
It’s no secret that Shanti misses me so much. She learnt everything from me. She was raised with such love and devotion. I miss her so much. She left that house and left us all alone. The media says to take a picture with the couple. They say she’s our new story. Karthik says she’s a new story.
It is true. Sanjana’s mom wants to get a story about you and your in-laws in the press. They ask when you will invite us, ma’am. She says as soon as we shift. Everyone is stunned. Mangal says shift? However, Mangal suffers a slip, and Adit comments why she bothers to dance if she can’t do it properly. This leads to him storming off, leaving Akshat confused about why his father left. Papa responds by simply stating that everyone has different talents. Akshat brings up his mother’s talent for cooking and wonders why she turned down the opportunity to be a judge at Papa’s office. Meanwhile, the media focuses on Karthik and Lakshmi, completely ignoring Gayatri. She feels hurt by this, and Sanjana tells her that Karthik no longer wants any photos of her, especially now that he has a wife. The group also notices how much Karthik dotes on Mangal and is willing to protect her from anyone who tries to harm her.
Ishana and Akshat are here for food. You said you’d make my favourite parathas. Ishana says I don’t like them at all. Papa says your dad’s boss was so impressed with the food that they invited Mangal to judge. You won’t find food as good as your mom’s. Akshat says mama, you should go. Papa said yes, and I said yes in Adit’s office on her behalf. Everyone is shocked. Despite Kusum’s assurances, he thinks she should go. Adit’s boss will be upset if Mangal doesn’t go. This may affect his promotion.
Kusum said she declined the offer because Adit was concerned about the medal. However, Papa argues that they should also consider Adit’s job. Kusum counters that she lacks confidence and cannot assess or select patients like Mangal, who is innocent. Ishana adds that the potential clients are celebrity chefs, and Mangal struggles with pronouncing spices and herbs and speaking English. Papa suggests rejecting the offer altogether, but Ruchika had recommended Mangal for the opportunity and may be offended if they decline. Despite this, it’s not a problem since Adit will handle it, and others may perceive him as arrogant.
