Mangal stated that we prepared the food, and Adit responded that all the caterers had left. She confirms that Lakshmi and she cooked it, but Adit remembers how he insulted her. Mangal explains that when he saw Somaiya getting anxious because the food was delayed, they decided to take matters into their own hands. They couldn’t allow the guests to leave without eating. Kusum compliments them and calls Lakshmi the “Lakshmi” of their household. She admits being afraid that specific individuals would purposefully humiliate Adit today. Kusum praises Lakshmi for being his faithful partner and wishes God’s blessings upon her for safeguarding their honor. She turns to Adit and asks if she is correct in her assessment, to which he agrees and hopes that the guests will enjoy the food.
Somaiya is angry. Somaiya asks what did you cook? Mangal tells all the desi dishes she made. Adit asks if this is what you want to feed the boss. No other option was available, so I wondered what I could do. Although the boss isn’t used to Indian spicy food, Mangal says I added only a few spices. Adit asks how did you cook so much food? Will it be short? Mangal says no, we cooked a lot. Somaiya says we were highly stressed. Please let us know, at least.
Mangal said don’t say that if the boss had a heart attack. Adit said it was okay. It’s all handled now. I was concerned that the boss would eat without eating. At least there is something to eat now. In Mangal’s words, I did not mention it to you because you asked me not to worry you. We also tried to serve you when you ordered. If you had ordered, we’d serve it. Let’s eat now.
A happy Mangal sees everyone enjoying the food. Shanti says to Lipika, “You’re eating here.” Go and talk to the guests with Mangal. See how Lakshmi is pleasing everyone. Lipika says I don’t have to impress anyone. Adit will realize how lucky he is today if he sees how good-looking I am. Lakshmi says to Mangal, “You look so happy.”
I almost insulted him in front of everyone. Somaiya showed ego to you. Mangal says Adit said it, and it is fine. We had to do our work. Adit is happy. That’s all I need. Lakshmi asks why you were crying. Did Adit say anything? Mangla says husband and wife argue, but they fix everything. Somaiya hears this, and she becomes upset.

He says, “I’ve been trying to talk to her, but she won’t speak. She has too much of an ego.” I’ve apologized many times to her. Lakshmi wonders if he’s talking about her. He says to his friend, “You know mom’s anger.” I’ll talk to her about the wedding soon. Lakshmi is shocked. She says, “Is he going to marry me?” I have to avoid him. Is he crazy?
I am having this food for the first time in a long time. Adit’s boss says it’s very delicious. I have been eating Italian food everywhere I go. I am so bored of it. Adit, you brought me back my country’s taste. It reminded me of the food his mother made. Thank you so much. His wife says, “Adit, you’re lucky you get such good food daily.” He says, “Yes, I am lucky.” Mangal smiles.
Somaiya storms off, and Adit quickly catches up to her. “What’s wrong?” he asks, trying to diffuse the situation. She responds, “Just let me go.” Adit persists, “Are you feeling upset?” He adds, “I am just a guest here; it’s not my place to be upset about anything. I only wanted to help with the food mix-up.” Somaiya vents her frustrations, “But it wasn’t your fault either! It’s unfair that you’re being blamed for something out of your control.” He reassures her, “It’s okay, I understand. Everything was eventually taken care of.” She shrugs him off, saying sarcastically, “Yeah, thanks to Mangal.” Adit retorts defensively, “Oh, come on! Don’t you think I was happy because my wife had to step in and save the day?”
I was pleased that everything ended well, as we didn’t want to face any insults. She mentions that you may not understand. When I see you with Mangal, it feels like she is your partner rather than me. He assures me that you are the only one in his heart. Do you not know that? She reminds me that tomorrow is Holi and insists you celebrate with me, not her. I will be the first to apply color to you. However, he brings up a point. Despite being his wife, she insists that she will apply color on him first. He denies ever saying such a thing and explains that staying home during festivals is something his mother prefers. If you refuse to play along, I won’t let anyone else. She challenges him and walks away.
She tells the kids to stop playing and go to sleep. We must go for Holi tomorrow. They are excited. Akshar says I will apply color to everyone. Mangal recalls playing Holi with Lakshmi before the wedding when everyone called her the Holi Queen. She remembers playing with Lakshmi. Mangal says I used to play Holi a lot and apply color to everyone first. Ishana says what? We’ve never seen you play Holi.
She says you’re always busy serving anyone. Mangal says I used to play a lot. Ishana says we won’t believe you until you apply color to Papa. Akshar says yes, apply color to Papa tomorrow. Mangal says go to sleep. Ishana says you can’t be Holi queen. You’re scared of Papa. Mangal says I respect him. Akshar says all moms apply color, just not you. Ishana says yes, it’s your challenge. She says she’ll apply color tomorrow.
