Mannat 1st January 2026 Written Update begins with Mannat visiting Mezbani, where memories of her time with Vikrant rush back to her. The place reminds her of their shared moments, making her emotional. At the same time, Vikrant is seen recording a heartfelt video message for Shruthi on his phone. He pours out his pain and complains that Mannat never stood by him when he needed her the most. Instead, she walked away, leaving him broken. As he expresses his grief, Mannat notices Vikrant from a distance. Vikrant catches a glimpse of her reflection in the mirror and immediately tries to follow her. Mannat panics and runs away before he can stop her.
Soon after, Guddi calls Mannat and informs her that Dua is planning to participate in a cooking competition with the dream of becoming a famous chef. Guddi adds that Dua wants to send her son to compete and win the title this time. Mannat is left confused and unsettled by the sudden news.
Mannat recalls how Dhairya lied to her earlier and feels deeply hurt. She decides that she must confront him once she returns home. Meanwhile, Vikrant is restless and keeps wondering if what he saw was really Mannat. He questions himself whether she has returned for him or if he simply imagined her presence. Kumar interrupts him, pulling him back to reality. Vikrant then reviews the audition videos for the cooking competition. When he watches Dua’s video, he is impressed and approves her selection without hesitation.
Elsewhere, Mallika and Vishaka secretly enter Arzoo’s room to investigate her background. Arzoo finally reveals her true identity as Aishwarya. Mallika is thrilled and expresses her happiness at Aishwarya’s return. Aishwarya explains that she invested Vikrant’s money into a business and deliberately changed her identity to Arzoo. She now plans to invest further in Vikrant’s ventures.
Mallika and Vishaka praise Aishwarya for her clever planning, but Aishwarya quickly taunts them for being careless and ineffective. She criticises them for allowing Yashika into Vikrant’s life and questions how Mallika permitted her presence in the house. Aishwarya warns that if Yashika had married Vikrant, Mallika and Vishaka would have lost their place in the family. Vishaka worries that Mallika failed to control Vikrant, but Aishwarya reassures her that her return has changed everything. Mallika confidently states that no one can expose Aishwarya’s identity now. She believes only Mannat was capable of doing so, but she will never return to Mumbai. Aishwarya confirms that she has ensured Mannat stays away permanently.
Later, Dua is seen praying sincerely to God. Bunty arrives with exciting news and shows her the confirmation email stating that she has been selected for the competition. Overjoyed, Dua hugs Dhairya. Dhairya asks how she plans to convince her mother. Dua confidently says he should speak to Mannat on her behalf. However, when Mannat arrives, she outright refuses. Bunty panics and runs away from the tense situation.
Mannat confronts Dhairya and scolds him for lying to her. Dua pleads with Mannat to allow her to participate, but Mannat remains firm and advises her to focus on her studies and attend school instead. Dua stubbornly demands permission and refuses to back down. Mannat and Dua argue intensely. Dua emotionally claims that she wants to use the prize money to help with Neetu’s surgery. Mannat tells her not to worry about such responsibilities and again refuses. Dhairya suggests Dua go to school, but she accuses Mannat of not trusting her and demands proof of faith. Mannat tries to calm and explain, but Dua storms off, leaving Mannat heartbroken.
Roni senses that something serious must have happened in Mumbai. Later, Vikrant admits to himself that despite Mannat betraying him, he still cannot move on. Her thoughts continue to haunt him. Yashika approaches him and realises he is still trapped in his past. She worries about her own future with him. Trying to pull him closer, she advises Vikrant to accept a new relationship and move forward. She serves him breakfast, but he excuses himself, saying he needs to meet Aishwarya. Yashika feels that Mallika, Vishaka and Arzoo are deliberately creating obstacles for her.
Meanwhile, Dhairya gently motivates Mannat and encourages her to open up. Mannat breaks down and shares her fear that she is failing as a mother. Dhairya reassures her and praises her as the best mother any child could have. Mannat apologises for previously taunting him.
Mannat admits that she fears those dangerous people might harm her daughter. She firmly states that she will never allow Dua to go to Mumbai and vows to protect her at any cost. Dhairya promises that he will not step back from his responsibilities and will always protect Mannat and Dua. Roni reflects that Vikrant has misunderstood the situation and believes that if given a chance, he could help him see the truth.
The episode ends with Yashika serving food to Vikrant and trying to get close to him. She mocks Aishwarya for hiding behind a false identity and wearing a mask inside the house.
