Mannat 21st January 2025 Written Update begins with Punit giving Mannat a difficult cooking challenge. Meanwhile, Aishwarya questions Mallika about enjoying Vickrant’s company. Mallika innocently says she likes spending time with him and even admits that Vickrant also sees Mannat as talented. Aishwarya scolds her daughter for mentioning Mannat’s name in front of Vickrant and warns her to focus only on him.

Back in the kitchen, Mannat struggles to complete the chopping task on time. When the timer ends, Punit humiliates her, saying she doesn’t deserve to be a chef and can only run a household kitchen. He mocks her background and criticises her for wearing bangles in the kitchen. Mannat is provoked and firmly asks why he refuses to give her a fair chance. Punit again taunts her gender, declaring the culinary field male-dominated. Mannat counters by naming several successful women chefs who fought against the same prejudices and proved their worth. She argues that women have always handled kitchens at home and cooked delicious meals for families and guests, so why should they be underestimated in restaurants? Calling out Punit’s male ego, she walks away hurt but determined.

Mannat then receives a call from the doctor regarding her mother’s surgery. Believing the result to be positive, she is devastated when informed it is negative and she must arrange money quickly. Desperate, she decides she needs the job at any cost. She approaches Punit again but he angrily tells her she is banned from the kitchen and demands she leave.

Later, Vickrant asks Punit about the selection. Mallika also questions whether Mannat was chosen. Punit lies, claiming Mannat burnt the food, injured herself, and only relied on recommendations. Mallika insists this is unfair, but Vickrant agrees with Punit that nothing comes easy. Aishwarya is pleased to see Mannat rejected.

Heartbroken, Mannat shares her pain with her mother, while Shruthi consoles her and reminds her to keep faith in God. Mallika, however, continues to defend Mannat’s talent in front of Vickrant. Convinced, Vickrant decides to give Mannat another chance. Mallika thanks him for his support.

Meanwhile, Mannat tries another interview but is rejected after the employer learns of Punit’s decision, telling her she must lack something if Punit turned her down. At the same time, Punit questions Aishwarya about why she hates Mannat so much despite her clear talent. Aishwarya cruelly responds that Mannat is poor and people like her only use rich families to shine through their money — something she will never accept.
