Sumeet has commissioned posters in search of a singer for the Ganesh Chaturthi performance. As Shlok and Naaz walk by, Sumeet fails to notice them even though she senses their presence. While chatting about shopping, Shlok accidentally mentions Chandni Chowk, an Indian location, but quickly covers it up by mentioning a replica in the US. Naaz agrees and suggests that Shlok should go back to the US. Just then, Shlok notices a man taking down a Ganesh Chaturthi poster and politely requests him to show respect to God.
He questions Shlok’s religion and whether he is Hindu when the Pakistani man confronts him. When Sumeet arrives, he cannot see Shlok’s face due to the crowd. Naaz introduces Shlok as Adil, their guest. She tells him he still has good values but needs to impress her more. As Sumeet talks to a shopkeeper, Shlok hears her voice and tries to find her, but wonders how she could be there.
Raj receives a letter from Sumeet, expressing her regret for going to Pakistan despite their objections. She explains that she couldn’t bear to see her husband and the family’s son suffer, so she made the difficult decision to go. In her absence, she asks Raj to look after the family. He promises to fulfill his duties and admires Sumeet’s courage. However, he is concerned about how she will handle the hostility in Pakistan and bring back her loved one. Sumeet hopes Shlok will come across a poster with a hidden message from her. Along her journey, she comes across a blind man struggling to walk and offers him assistance, receiving his blessings in return. Despite his refusal of money, she shows kindness by giving him candies instead.
Later, Shlok encounters the same blind man and realizes the candies are the same candies Sumeet likes. As he is about to reach Sumeet, he hears a lady asking for help and misses seeing her. He wonders if Sumeet is actually in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Raj feels guilty that Sumeet left for Pakistan alone, and blames himself for not fulfilling his brotherly role.
Raj is consoled by Priyanka, while Pankhuri arrives and criticizes Sumeet for not considering Raj’s feelings before departing. Sumeet is defended and Raj is asked not to blame himself. Naaz is attacked by Raja, her obsessive lover. Shlok saves her and helps her fend off her attacker. As a result of Shlok’s actions, Naaz hugs him, thinking that she cannot refuse him. While Sumeet is nearby, she holds Shlok’s hand as they walk away, but she misses out on him.
