Sumeet becomes anxious upon noticing her broken mangalsutra, worrying for Shlok’s well-being. Raj instructs his men to keep Shlok in their custody until the auspicious time for the engagement has passed, when they can then release him. Despite Shlok’s pleas, Raj stands firm in his decision. Sumeet attempts to track Shlok’s whereabouts by tracing his fallen bike through the company. This leads to a confrontation between Shlok and Raj, resulting in a physical altercation. While Raj desires for Shlok to accept his marriage with Sumeet and cancel the engagement, Shlok remains opposed to this idea.
Having found Shlok’s location at a dhaba, Sumeet wonders if he is really in danger. While Raj calls her, Sumeet ignores him, remembering that he had bribed Bala in the past. When Sumeet arrives at the dhaba, she is concerned about Shlok’s safety. Raj denies any harm to Shlok and insists he is doing everything for her happiness. She questions Raj over the phone and asks him if he has done anything to him. He instructs his men to keep Shlok kidnapped, but unharmed.
As soon as Raj leaves, Raunak tells his men to torture Shlok severely, hoping to make Sumeet mad and blame him. On his engagement day, Sumeet wonders why Shlok would come to such a locked dhaba. At the engagement venue, guests gossip about Shlok’s drunk video with Sumeet and wonder if he will show up for the engagement. Poonam believes he might be stuck somewhere and will eventually show up.
As Raunak’s men attack Shlok, Sumeet is alerted by the commotion. She questions how there could be noise within the closed dhaba and suspects that Shlok may be inside. His family becomes anxious as they realize he has suddenly disappeared. Meanwhile, Raunak’s men set a fire and hoist Shlok on a cot above it. Raunak takes pleasure in seeing Shlok suffer before making his way to the engagement venue. He feigns concern when Poonam mentions their inability to reach Shlok. Attempting to provoke Bitti, Raunak teases her but she directs her focus on whether or not Shlok will make it to the engagement.
Raunak aims to take everything that matters to Shlok, including Sumeet. Despite Shlok’s protest, Sumeet manages to enter the dhaba, but she is met with attacks from Raunak’s men. Remembering Meet’s advice to face challenges head on, Sumeet bravely fights against the goons. As flames engulf the dhaba, Shlok cries out in pain, but Sumeet swoops in and saves him just in time. With determination, she unties him and they embrace tightly. The goons make another attempt at attacking Shlok, but Sumeet defends him by throwing burning coals at them. Leading Shlok away from the danger, she holds onto his hand tightly.

The injuries incurred by Shlok were not caused by an accident, Sumeet tells everyone. She hands over a burning stick to Poonam and says I’m the culprit, so punish me. Poonam takes the stick from her and burns her hand, screaming in pain. Police arrive, ask for Poonam, and arrest her. According to Bitti, police arrested your mother under domestic violence after someone told them Poonam was hurting Sumeet with a burning stick.
