When Shagun throws flowers at Sumeet, she feels dizzy. Raj asks what happened. She says, maybe dehydration. He makes her drink water and says, your brother is with you. Raunak comes forward for the grah pravesh ritual. Raj thinks they should have been here by now. She brings out the pot for the ritual and declares in her mind that Sumeet will end after this. Your brother will cry all his life. I will take revenge with you both.
Shagun performs the arti and prompts Sumeet to enter the house by kicking the pot. However, due to feeling dizzy, Sumeet hesitates as she walks towards the pot. Just as she is about to kick it, police officers suddenly enter and demand that she stops. Raunak and Shagun are taken aback by this unexpected interruption. The officer informs Raunak that he is being arrested for Priya’s murder, leaving him in shock. Refuting the accusation, Raunak asserts his innocence. The officer then presents them with a video showing a man wearing a sehra committing the murder of Priya, revealing it was all part of Sumeet and Raj’s plan to frame Raunak. In order to prove his innocence and avoid getting arrested, Raunak must confess that he was not present at the mandap on the day of the incident.
The officer inquires with Raunak, asking if he was the one behind the sehra. Raunak affirms this, but insists that he did not commit any murder. Upon noticing the matching tattoo on both Raunak’s and the victim’s hand in the video, the officer orders his colleagues to arrest him. However, Raunak pulls Shagun aside and reveals that if he claims to have not been at the mandap, it will become evident that it was Shlok who married Sumeet instead. Shagun reassures him, saying she will take care of everything. Suddenly, Sumeet becomes dizzy and faints. In her mind, Shagun suspects that this may have been part of Raunak’s plan to bring the police to the scene and realizes that he may not be able to escape punishment for his actions.
Raj and Shlok take Sumeet to a hospital. The doctor checks her and says she is poisoned. Raj says she would never commit suicide. The doctor says they can’t give her antidotes until they figure out what poison she was given. Raj and Shlok are concerned.
While Shagun is arranging a meeting with the minister to get Raunak released from jail, Raj bursts in and immediately accuses her of giving him poison. Shagun denies any involvement but Raj becomes increasingly angry, convinced that she had a hand in his brother’s arrest. Both agree that something must have happened which led to Raunak being imprisoned. Suddenly, Sumeet admits that he is actually Shagun’s husband, and was shortly thereafter arrested. Shagun apologizes for her son’s actions and asks to be excused as she rushes off to save him. Before she can leave, however, Raj grabs her hand and they engage in a heated conversation. Shagun expresses her deep love for her son and is willing to do whatever it takes to save him. She urges Raj to tell her the truth about what happened, hoping it will help save Raunak. With no time to spare, she leaves the room.
Sumeet’s treatment is ongoing while Raunak remains locked up. He requests water from a constable, but before he can drink it, Shlok enters and forcefully knocks the glass away from his hand. Grabbing Raunak, Shlok demands to know what poison he gave Sumeet. A crowd has gathered outside and they are calling for Raunak’s release, claiming his innocence. The doctor informs Raj that numerous tests have been done, but the results won’t be available for another 4-5 hours which could potentially be too late. Raj is urged to urgently find out about the poison. In order to obtain the name of the poison, Raunak asks Shlok to fulfill a favor first – getting him water and cleaning his shoes until they shine. This request causes Shlok to become angry and he pulls Raunak’s leg causing him to fall down. Refusing to give Shlok the poison name, Raunak tells him to leave.
He recalls how he and Sumeet sent Raunak to jail. Raj says he will have to tell Shagun that Priya is alive and that they did the drama to save Sumeet from Shagun.
Shlok begins to sing, but Raunak quickly interrupts him. “Stop,” he says, “we’ve been through this before.” Shlok replies, “Fine, then you’ll have to give me the poison’s name.” He adds with a smirk, “After all, I am both your strength and your weakness.” He then suggests a bold plan- stepping outside and singing just two lines in front of Raunak’s fans. “They’ll see who the real ‘wonderboy’ is,” he taunts.
However, Raunak reminds him of their contract and how he cannot go against it. But Shlok shrugs it off, saying he’ll do anything to save Sumeet. With that threat hanging in the air, Raunak reluctantly agrees to reveal the poison’s name.
Meanwhile, Raj tries calling Shagun desperately for help but receives no answer. Just as he starts panicking, Shlok calls him back with some good news- he has discovered the name of the poison and the hospital where its antidote is available. The doctor tells Raj to relay this information within 15 minutes. However, Shlok knows that the hospital is 45 minutes away and wonders how he will make
