Dadi’s health is worsening, and Panchuri expresses concern that there is only one day left for the challenge. She laments the family’s poverty and fears that they will become slaves. She blames Sumeet for accepting Shagun’s challenge and causing suffering to everyone. Sumeet is questioned about how she plans to improve Raunak’s condition. Shlok begins answering, but Sumeet stops him, saying they already figured out a solution and promise to win by the next day.
The two talk privately, Shlok asks Sumeet why she is doubting his family and keeping them in the dark about Raunak’s mental health. She assures the family that Sumeet will secretly call a doctor for Raunak without letting Shagun find out. Sumeet explains that the family is innocent and might struggle to act convincingly if they know the truth.
In order to disguise Raj as a doctor, Priyanka does his makeup. Priyanka insists that no one else can do the makeup better than she and encourages Raj to look in the mirror. They have a cute argument and playful interaction, recalling their past encounters. Raj gets shocked when he sees himself in the mirror.
Our family will become complete and full of happiness after the baby is born, Vani tells Abhay. As a result of his infertility, Abhay confesses to Vani that he cannot be the child’s father. As he mentions getting a blood test done, Vani becomes devastated and begins to cry, denying the possibility. She suggests that these reports could be false, confirming that the child is indeed his.
Despite Vani’s heartbreak, Abhay insists she get a DNA test done to prove her identity. She nearly raises her hand to strike Abhay for doubting her character in her emotional state. Upon refusing, Abhay forcefully removes Vani’s mangalsutra and leaves. Abhay gives her an ultimatum, telling her that she can’t stay with him unless she gets the DNA test done. Abhay notices Raj wearing his doctor’s disguise and informs Shagun.
Sumeet approaches Raunak and introduces Raj, disguised as “Doctor Danny,” who claims to treat mentally unstable patients. To restore Raunak’s brain to normality, Raj will shock him with 440 volts. He teases him and makes him sit in a chair.
Sumeet and Shlok discuss how they are trying to get Raunak to confess that he’s not mentally unstable by making him nervous as he realizes he needs to protect himself from their tactics. Raj continues the act, making Raunak anxious about the electric shock and even pretending to receive an animal injection. Raunak panics and identifies the injection as a horse injection, but Raj insists it is needed.
Raunak worries that he might become genuinely unstable if he’s subjected to shocks. As a result of his panic, he kicks Raj, causing him to fall. Sumeet and Shlok are concerned, but Raj manages the situation, bringing the wire closer to Raunak. Raj decides to stop thinking it is too risky. In her imagination, Sumeet will beg for her family and Shlok will lose his sanity in one more day.
Abhay approaches Shagun to inform her about Raj’s impersonation as a doctor, and implies they’re trying to harm Raunak. Raunak screams that he’s not mad, and confesses that the reports are fabricated.
