After checking the gift sent by Meet’s family, Gunwanti finds blades, swords and metal scarves. Everyone was in shock after seeing the gift. Gunwanti says are these gifts or weapons and how are they related to you. Jasodha asks Meet what your family is trying to tell, are we goons? You didn’t keep fast and now you are insulting us.
My parents cannot send this, Meet says. She recalls finding Shagun’s payal in the storeroom, then looks at Shagun and says I’m sure someone changed my gifts. Gunwanti says you’re blaming us now. Meet replies, “Listen to me.” There is nothing wrong with accepting your fault, Jasodha says, now you won’t live in this house because you’re not Manmeet’s wife.
Manmeet asks Jasodha what happened to Meet. Jasodha says because of her our reputation in society got ruined and she disrespected our rules and regulations. He asks Manmeet to take her back to her house. Imarti gives Manmeet Meet’s luggage.
Imarti’s bangles are looked at by Manmeet and he says Meet will not go anywhere because those gifts are not from Meet’s house, since the real gifts have been changed by Imarti Bhabhi. Imarti says I did nothing. Imarti is asked by Manmeet where these bangles came from since I remember they were in Meet’s gift.
It was Gunwanti and Shagun’s fault, Imarti says, I saw them changing Meet’s gift with weapons, and she threw a box and I found these bangles inside, which I kept with me because I liked them, but she burned all the gifts.
Feeling fearful, Shagun urges Manmeet to listen to her, confessing her deep love for him. She admits that she cannot bear to see him with another woman, which led her to resort to disrespectful actions in an attempt to drive her away from their home. Shagun declares her love for Manmeet and expresses her desire to marry him, but she is still awaiting a decision from the other woman involved.
As Manmeet approaches her, he apologizes to everyone on Shagun’s behalf. Meet says it’s not Shagun’s fault I’m coming in between. He suggests I return home because this will happen again, so it’s better for me. In the middle of the conversation, Meet places his finger on Meet’s lips and promises that the same kind of behaviour will not repeat itself, that you can forgive and return home.
Meet walks into the house. Manmeet takes her luggage. Jasodha tells everyone to go inside. She says Meet gave me sweets and many other things from her thali. Sapna hears all this and says she kept the fast and gave it to the little girl.
In Jasodha’s room, she has a God’s idol that was created by her. Jasodha says to Meet that you have kept fast for my son and even performed pooja for him. He also doesn’t want you to leave, so today I pray for you and Manmeet. Meet is just a responsibility, Manmeet says angrily to Shagun. Shagun asks what kind of responsibility?
Considering that Shagun and Manmeet have loved each other since childhood, Meet asks Jasodha how I can ask God for Manmeet (Maa Gauri). Throughout history, a wife has always triumphed over a lover. He tells Manmeet about Raj, and then he hears Bapu Sarkar calling him. He says I’ll tell you later, and then I’ll attend him. Outside, Manmeet walks to Sarkar. She prays in her room.
Sarkar asserts, “Once again, you failed to fulfil your promise. That’s why we handed over the documents to her.” Manmeet pleads, “Please give me some more time. Raj and Babita are currently unavailable, but I will send her back once they return.” Sarkar expresses his disappointment, mentioning that he can’t look Manmeet in the eye whenever he lies. This time, he lied to Meet. Sarkar reveals that he knew where Meet’s parents were and shows him the newspaper as evidence. Manmeet is taken aback, stunned by the revelation.
They are having food together. Sundari says to Sapna that Shagun grew up in this house, and everyone loves her, but she should have thought one time before doing something like that. Jasodha and Meet walk to them.
Then Jasodha requests Meet to break her fast. Gunwanti approaches with Shagun and asks her for something. Jasodha, in turn, asks Gunwanti to send Shagun back to her home until they finalize a wedding date for Manmeet.
Sarkar sternly declares that this will be their final decision since Manmeet lied to his father, and now Meet cannot continue living there. Manmeet defends Meet, explaining that her parents have passed away, and they had made a promise to take care of her.
When they were young, things were different, but now she is an adult and everyone is questioning our family because she is here without Manmeet. Shagun faints. As Jasodha asks Gunwanti to handle her, Meet says no, but Shagun. Jasodha tells Meet enough, I know you did a lot for me, but don’t act smart. She asks Shagun to pack her bag.
Manmeet says she remembers everything. Sarkar says you promised Shagun to look after her when you got married to her as a child. Manmeet is shocked.
