Bala discloses that Shlok is the individual he inked, but later changes his story and credits Sumeet with saving his life. Raj shows up with CCTV images capturing Shlok’s face under the veil at the wedding, much to Shlok and Raunak’s surprise. However, Shlok denies both receiving the tattoo and marrying Sumeet, arguing that he wouldn’t have abandoned her if they were truly wed. Raj maintains that the pictures are authentic and were taken from a CCTV camera near the tattoo parlor.
As Shagun arrives, he applauds Raj’s plan, accusing him of manipulating the evidence with his wealth. She shows the recording of Raj bribing Bala to falsely accuse Shlok. When Sumeet attempts to talk to Shlok, he becomes furious and warns her to stop acting like they’re married. Poonam also asks Sumeet to stay away from Shlok and not return home.
Poonam prays at home for Shlok to find a life partner who understands him and thanks God for removing all evil omens. As Sumeet cries, feeling humiliated and defeated by Raj’s actions, why don’t you let me fight alone?
Poonam explains to her family that Sumeet’s actions are causing them to be disrespected in the town, as if they have done something wrong. Her husband also shares this viewpoint. Dadi reminds them that sometimes the truth can be clouded and things may appear differently. Poonam suggests putting aside what has happened and focusing on the future. She has made the decision to discuss Bitti and Shlok’s engagement with Bitti’s family today, instead of waiting for the planned date of 21 days. She instructs Anju to make arrangements for this discussion. Poonam presents the ring to Shlok, encouraging him to move past everything and look towards their future together.
Raj tells Sumeet not to suffer unnecessarily, but Sumeet refuses to go back. Determined to prove that Sumeet Sangwan is not a liar, she walks away.
Online trolls mock her, labeling her a cheater. While browsing the market, Sumeet recalls her mother’s advice to expose the truth. Vani informs Sumeet of Shlok’s engagement to Bitti and urges her to visit Raunak’s house. However, Sumeet clarifies that she is married to Shlok, not Raunak, and therefore declines the invitation. A group of men attempt to harass Sumeet by hurling insults and questioning her husband’s identity. Unfazed, she confronts them and notes that alcohol often causes people to reveal their true selves.
Vani convinces Raj that Shagun has changed and will take care of Sumeet as well. However, Raj disagrees and wants to return Sumeet to the Ahlawat mansion instead of sending him to Shagun’s house.
Shlok messages Sumeet to meet her at their favorite place, where they spent time together in the past. When Shlok arrives there, he asks her why she called. Sumeet secretly adds alcohol to his drink. Towards the end of the episode, Sumeet hopes that he will confess the truth about their marriage after getting drunk.
