The Episode opens with Mauli praying, while Manas later apologizes for his mistakes. He expresses his confusion in understanding relationships like hers and hopes to improve. With this, she gives him Prasad before leaving. As he notices Janki, he worries that Mauli might dislike him and relay a lousy image to others. He approaches Janki, who offers him Prasad for the Holika dahan ritual. Seeking some work to keep himself busy, Manas reveals his concerns about not being able to impress Mauli with their failed dinner plans and how he struggles to make things right. Sitting down next to her, he turns towards Hari for advice on how to win Janki’s heart.
According to Janki, all of this wasn’t there in our time. Hari says I did nothing to impress Janki. She says you did it to impress Sunaina; he took her out for Kulfi treats. Someone else can help you, Rohit advises Golu. Janki comes to them and asks if they won a girl’s heart. Golu worries. Rohit says I had many female friends. She asks him to explain Manas to her.
Rahul comes and says Rohit isn’t mad to say this at home. Janki asks what. Rahul comes and says Rohit isn’t mad to say this at home. She says Manas is impressing Mauli. Akshay grabs a chair and jokes about burning it this year. Ajay notices his old chair and playfully claims it as his own. Remembering fond memories, Vijay suggests repairing it, but Manoj insists on buying a new one. Disagreement ensues until Ajay embraces Manoj, and they all laugh. However, Akshay’s temper rises at the mention of fixing the old chair.
As Rahul reads the news, he sees Mauli with a scissor. He worries and follows her. He takes the scissors from her. He says I won’t let you kill Manas. She asks what. She remembers Jyoti telling her about the tailor shop closing. Mauli says she will prepare for Holika. She says Rahul, did you go mad? He says you have. She said she came here to stitch the kurta. He says, “I thought…”.
The elders told me to give him a chance and let him do whatever he wanted, so I would refuse if I wanted. I feel he has some plan. What does your heart say? She said you don’t need to get involved; please go. She says you don’t deserve you. He says you get down; I’ll help you. She falls down. They both get under the clothes. Janki and everyone look on.
In his eyes, Manas thinks my work has become more accessible. Janki worries. He asks how did you fall, are you okay. Mauli replies, “I’m fine. I fell while getting clothes.” He asks Rahul if he’s alright. Rahul says yes. Janki thinks Manas showed maturity. He gives Mauli flowers.
As Janki smiles, Manas recalls giving the flowers to Aashna. He says Mauli will never forgive me. Mauli thinks you will make her look bad, so she goes to Manas and asks why he’s doing this. He says I want to please you. As she says, she knows you won’t put in any effort and don’t need to do anything extra. He thinks I don’t have time to do all this.
He says Janki is pressuring you to accept me when you feel I deserve you. She says if I feel then you can cheat me again. He says he knows it’s difficult, but he has hurt his self-respect. She says you want me to say no? He says no, I want you to make a good decision. She taunts him and keeps the flowers. He thinks he can’t handle this drama anymore. In sight of Janki, he says he needs to use this old woman.
