In Vrindavan, Mishri’s father buys her something, and he gives her a magical pencil, saying she can get anything she writes with it. Her mother would be delighted if she studied well and pursued her dreams, he tells her when she asks if she can get her mother back.
Suddenly, Mishri drops the pencil and jumps out of the auto to retrieve it, but her father remains inside the vehicle. Everyone leaves the car to see Mishri, but her father remains inside. As the auto explodes, other passengers say Mishri saved them, but she cries over her dead father. She is lucky for others, but her fate is unfortunate, says a stranger.
As time passed, Mishri grew up and began praying in a temple. Upon returning home, she noticed her aunt (Chachi) fast asleep. To avoid disturbing her, Mishri silently began her tasks with Giri’s assistance. She mentioned that she would receive her admit card a full day ahead. However, Giri reminded her that she had forgotten to wash the utensils. Her grandmother kindly suggested that Mishri left quickly and assured her that she would take care of the dishes despite being elderly. Not wanting to burden her grandmother, Mishri secretly stowed away the dirty utensils and promised to wash them later. Before leaving, she received a blessing from her grandmother.
Raghav greets his mother, who tells him to pray at the temple. Vaani is waiting for Raghav to arrive and hears him call her her god. She has a wheezing problem, and he helps her, but she refuses to leave. She prays for a kind and loving girl to come into his life. Raghav calls Vaani to apologize for the delay. He is told to go straight to the orphanage.
Mishri accidentally touches Anu’s ceremonial plate in school, and Anu’s in-laws mock her because of her dark skin. Mishri explains that skin color doesn’t matter, and they agree on the marriage alliance. Mishri receives her admit card and is overjoyed.
On the election result day, Mishri’s uncle scolds Bela for delaying his tea, and Grandma covers for her. He wins the election after seeing Mishri’s face. Grandma feels helpless without anyone to help her when Bela discovers Mishri has left the house.
When Raghav surprises Vaani, she complains about his delays and failure to discuss their marriage with his family. He promises to speak with them. Bela tortures Mishri and burns her admit card. Grandma assures Mishri that someone will be there for her, and Raghav consoles Vaani about her sister Meenu, whom she regrets not helping. Later, Mishri’s uncle flirts with her, leaving her feeling helpless.
