When Saraswathi is about to fall, Vedika and Koyal rush to her aid, and Saraswathi looks at them with tears. Digvijay and Rajeshwari stand up with everyone else, and Sagar runs to assist Saraswathi. Upon discovering it is so heavy, Vedika wonders why, and Rajeshwari asks Guru Ji if this is not a good sign because Saraswathi couldn’t fulfill the ritual, which is a bad omen.
It is Vedika’s right to do it in place of Saraswathi. Rajeshwari replies that relatives have this right, and Vedika replies that she is like her aunty’s daughter. Padma and Kishori lal are stunned by that, Vedika says Saraswathi considers her as her daughter and blood relations do not always matter. Padma believes that Vedika is their daughter and she cannot be the daughter of anyone else, but Kishori lal assures them that they will not tell Vedika anything.
Vedika consults with Guru Ji, who shares her sentiments and assures her that she is capable. He notes the unspoken closeness between them. With a smile, Vedika takes over the ritual in place of Saraswathi. Sagar plays the drum, while Mauri ponders how Koyal could have helped steal the necklace if she had played her role. As Vedika begins to feel lightheaded and loses her footing, causing concern for everyone, Sagar quickly comes to her aid by helping her grab onto the flag. This evokes anger from Rajeshwari and Digvijay, but Suphedra and Kamal can’t help but smile at the turn of events.
While Sagar stares at Vedika, who is tensed, she finally smiles as he helps her raise the flag again, signaling her to do so. After Vedika performs the ritual along with Sagar, holding the flag tightly, they both place the flag in the designated spot for everyone to clap. Sagar and Vedika both smile as they look at the flag.
Lily asks Rajeshwari if she can bring the medicine. Rajeshwari furiously asks Pandit Ji if they can start the Hawan, and he agrees, explaining that this ritual has been completed without any problems. Sagar walks away from Vedika, who keeps smiling. Vedika stands in front of Rajeshwari with a smile as Sagar kneels in front of Saraswathi.
Padma invites Vedika to join them, but Kishori gives her a signal. They both greet Rajeshwari and Digvijay before Padma pulls Vedika away. As everyone sits for the pooja, Vedika assures her mother that she is alright. When Vedika asks what has happened, Padma tells her they do not need to stay until the Hawan. Vedika takes the hint, and they begin the pooja. At that moment, Vedika knows it is the perfect opportunity to get the red file from the safe and expose the truth about Gautham’s uncle and Dayal Ji’s death.
Suphedra prevents Vedika from asking Pandit Ji about the pot. Vedika goes to the Pandit, and Mauri advises Koyal to signal her if there are any issues. After being informed by Koyal, Mauri leaves. Padma notices Vedika heading towards the stairs and stops her, insisting she sits with her. Rajeshwari observes that Vedika seems anxious and realizes she needs to act fast before she gets near the safe.
Mauri swiftly enters the safe room, announcing that her life will become much more colorful. She retrieves her gloves from the bag and slips them on with a smile as she gazes at the keypad. Managing to unlock the safe, she is taken aback by the abundance of riches inside. Excitedly, she opens the box holding the necklace and removes it quickly before shutting the safe again. She hastily attempts to hide the necklace in her sleeve but lets out a startled cry before realizing it’s just a photograph.
Rajeshwari inquires about Guru Ji’s words, to which he responds with instructions for the ritual she must perform. Vedika notices the others engrossed in their tasks and seizes the opportunity to retrieve the red file. She rushes upstairs while Koyal receives a message from Mauri confirming that the task has been accomplished and the necklace has been acquired. As Vedika makes her way up, she apologizes to GhatuSham Ji for her intention to steal but emphasizes the importance of obtaining the proof contained in the red file.
Koyal informs Ghatu Sham that she usually gives him one percent of her income, but this time, she takes a portion without his knowledge. She and her mother take full responsibility for this theft. While on a walk, Mauri realizes her watch is missing. Once Vedika enters the safe room, she secures the doors and enters the password into the keypad. Initially hesitant, she eventually manages to open the safe. However, Vedika remains unfazed by the valuables inside and immediately turns her attention to a red file. To her surprise, it is empty, leaving her in shock.
Vedika notices that everything is carefully orchestrated to trap her. However, she is unaware of the hidden camera on the ship. Hastily, she re-ties the file and rushes out of the safe room. But in her hurry, she accidentally collides with Mauri, causing the necklace to slip from her grasp. Quick to react, Mauri steps in front of the necklace and explains that she needs to use the restroom and that her watch also fell off. Meanwhile, Koyal approaches them, questions why Vedika dropped the necklace and urges her to come quickly before they get caught stealing. To Koyal’s surprise, Vedika stands before her.
