He tells Gayatri that he hoped Shakti would ease Shiv’s suffering, but she has caused him more pain. Gayatri says maybe it was all a misunderstanding, and Shakti didn’t really know the truth. Nandu says she is lying. Gayatri says maybe, but we all know the Lord wanted them together. They got married and promised to be together for life.
As soon as Raghunath arrives, Shakti asks, “What is she doing?” Raghunath tells her to shut up and don’t say a word about this matter. You destroyed Shiv’s happiness and this family’s peace. He pushes her away and says, “Let me speak to Gayatri.” He says, “You have spoiled our peace. I won’t spare you today.” He grabs her and glares at her.
When Mandira brings Rimjhim to Keertan, Rimjhim asks if everything is okay. Mandira replies, “I’m sorry. I’ve tried to speak with Keertan, but he won’t listen to me. Your sister destroyed your life. Keertan is hurt for Shiv and doesn’t want you here anymore. You must leave the house. I worked hard for this marriage; I wanted you to be my daughter-in-law.”
Rimjhim is shocked and asks Keertan what’s her fault in all this. He says he doesn’t care and starts dragging her out of the house. Rimjhim says, “I am your wife; don’t do this.” Mandira smirks and says, “This is all happening just as I expected.” She hears Gayatri crying and says Raghunath must be putting her in place. Let’s go and see.
She says Shakti has a big heart, and she will manage everything there. Chacha says Rimjhim is still childish. Manorama answered that she knew she would never harm Shakti.
Raghunath forcefully shoves Gayatri onto the floor and declares he will not show her any mercy. Shock washes over Shakti as she sees Keertan bringing Rimjhim into the room. Without hesitation, Raghunath delivers a brutal slap to Gayatri’s face, causing Nandu to plead with him to cease his actions. However, Raghunath stubbornly pushes Nandu away and fixes a menacing glare on Gayatri. As the rest of the family gathers, Shakti implores Dadi to intervene and end Raghunath’s aggression. Inquisitively, Dadi asks what transgression Gayatri has committed this time. Raghunath justifies his actions by accusing Gayatri of attempting to manipulate Shakti into staying behind with Shiv, who he claims is in his current state because of her. Despite Shakti’s desperate pleas for someone to stop Raghunath, nobody comes to her aid. As Shiv’s name escapes Shakti’s lips in a scream for help, all hope seems lost.
Shiv is alone in his room with headphones on. He recalls how Gauri used to sing for him. He used to record her voice. He plays her song and cries quietly to himself.
Gayatri says Raghunath will teach her something today that will make her shut up for life. He takes out his belt while everyone is shocked. Shakti screams for Shiv, but he does not come. Raghunath is about to hit Gayatri with his belt when Shakti grabs it and glares at him. She throws the belt away. Raghunath says, “How dare you stop me?” As he is about to slap her, she grabs his hand and asks, “How dare you raise your hand on your wife and daughter-in-law?”
Shakti is told to lower her voice. Have a little shame. He is your father-in-law, so how are you talking to him? Did your Chachi teach you this? Shakti says yes, and every mother should tell her daughters not to be silent against cruelty. In your son’s case, he was beating his wife like an animal and about to hit his daughter-in-law. Is this what you have taught him? Dadi starts to feel dizzy.
Raghunath tells Shakti that you have no manners when talking to your elders. Shakti says I have manners, but I am sorry. She tells Dadi she doesn’t want to misbehave but can’t stand by injustice.
