Manorama advises Shakti and Rimjhim before they visit their in-laws’ place. Chacha reminds them that they are no longer children. Manorama assures him they will always be her children, even when they are old. Chacha becomes emotional at the thought of them leaving. Manorama reassures him that since they will be living under the same roof, Shakti will take good care of Rimjhim. Shakti expresses her gratitude for having Rimjhim and promises to care for her and everyone else. She also vows to have a big heart and find happiness in what she has, but she still has big dreams. She credits her upbringing for this mindset and promises always to make her family proud.
As Manorama hugs her, he says I’m glad you’re going to the same house together. Shakti says she wishes she could take all of you with her. Rimjhim says she is saying all that but will forget us when she gets with Shiv. Talk to each other if you have a misunderstanding, and don’t let others see you fight. Shakti remembers how Shiv told her he wanted to reveal something to her before he married her.
As Manorama serves food to the family, Shakti is concerned about Shiv’s secret. Mandira smirks and says the secret won’t come out until after the wedding. In her opinion, I love him, and nothing will make me hate him, so I will marry him no matter what.
Shiv says Shakti will find out the truth soon, and she will say no to the wedding, but I don’t want to lose her as a friend. You were honest, Gayatri assures him. Shakti asks why he’s feeling restless. She calls him, but it’s silent. Shakti looks at Gauri’s photo and says I feel like you’re trying to tell me something. Shiv asks Gayatri what would happen if he lost Shakti as his friend. Gayatri replies that Shakti will protect the relationship.
Keertan follows Nandu to Shakti’s place. He says I’ll kill him today. He remembers Shiv and Shakti together and gets angry. Keertan hits Nandu’s car from behind, but Nandu drives away. Keertan says if he dies, how will Shakti know the truth and say no to the marriage? This won’t be fun for me. I apologize, Mom, but I won’t attack Nandu. Shakti will find out the truth only before marriage. He hits his car and says I’ll tell Mom I was injured and couldn’t stop Nandu.
When Gayatri apologizes to Raghunath, she says she will not leave the house anymore, but I will not punish my son. As Raghunath strangles her, he says I am losing my son as a result of you. Someone knocks on the door, so he leaves her. When Shiv sees Gayatri coughing, he rushes to her. He asks her if she is okay, and she says nothing. He gives her water and looks at Raghunath while he gives her water.
As he apologizes for today, he asks what you would do if you were in my position. Despite my essential work, I sent Nandu to ensure my mother was safe in this home. I wasn’t her son for years, but I’m not anymore. Raghunath says yes. Shiv says I trust and honor your promise, so don’t break my trust in you. He looks sadly at Gayatri and leaves. Raghunath watches.
When the door knocks, Dharam opens it to discover Nandu. Manorama asks Nandu if everything is okay. Nandu says Shiv has sent a letter to Shakti. Manorama says he is romantic, so I’ll give it to her. Nandu says he’ll give it to her himself. Responding to Manorama’s comment, Nandu nods and goes to Shakti’s room.
