Manorama inquires, “Do you think about him?” when Rimjhim suggests it’s time for bed. Manorama then urges her to have a small snack before going to sleep and excuses herself. Shakti questions whether Ranjan’s family is trustworthy after their behavior today. Manorama acknowledges that conflicts arise in relationships. Shakti reminds her that dowry is illegal and recalls how she was pressured into giving up her bangles. Manorama responds that sometimes it’s best to overlook certain things, noting that though his brother may be rude, Ranjan is not. However, Shakti disagrees and Manorama tells her to drop the topic as he has always been supportive of Rimjhim. She then walks away.
Shakti prays to Lord, asking for a sign regarding whether Ranjan is a suitable match for Rimjhim. Feeling lonely, she reminisces about Shiv, who she considers a friend despite initially rejecting his friendship. Desperate to hear his voice, she calls him from the landline. Upon answering, Shiv expresses that no one seems to want to talk to him lately and wonders if he made a mistake. He then directly asks Shakti why she denied their friendship. Taken aback by his recognition of her voice, Shakti is unable to respond and ends the call in tears. Determined to confront her the next day, Shiv reassures himself that their bond is not weak and pleads with Shakti to tell him what he did wrong. Meanwhile, Shakti sits alone and cries.
In the morning, Manorama and Shakti are both at the mandir preparing for the pooja. However, when Shakti goes to the market to buy pooja items, he discovers that they have all been sold out. Meanwhile, Shiv calls Dadi to inform her that he has already purchased all the necessary items for the pooja. Dadi expresses concern about what others will do now, to which Shiv assures her that he will also share with them. After hanging up, Dadi shares with Gayatri her hope that this exchange will bring Shakti and Shiv together.
Overhearing their conversation, Mandira instructs Keertan to go to the mandir and prevent Shiv from meeting Shakti. Confused by this sudden change in plans, Keertan questions Mandira’s previous warning to stay away from “that cheap girl.” However, Mandira explains that Rimjhim’s fiance is a threat to Shakti’s well-being and therefore it is necessary for Keertan to intervene.
Shiv is searching for Shakti in the mandir, but cannot find her. When Shakti arrives, they both sense each other’s presence. Unable to locate her, Shiv asks Nandu to help look for her. Meanwhile, Shakti is at the market attempting to purchase leaves for a pooja, but discovers that Shiv has already bought them all. However, he left one behind which the shopkeeper gives to Shakti. Grateful, she thanks him and exits. Just then, Shiv arrives and catches Shakti staring at him. He apologizes for buying all the leaves and offers them to her. But Shakti declines, stating that she cannot accept his friendship. Confused, Shiv questions if she cannot accept their friendship despite their protective nature and mutual desire to fulfill each other’s aspirations? But Shakti clarifies that she already has plenty of friends and does not need more before leaving. Shiv wonders what she could possibly be keeping from him.
