The Episode begins with Bindiya questioning Payal about her actions of beating the plate. Payal clarifies that she was trying to wake her up so she could end her fast. Bindiya responds that if she can keep the fast in this challenging situation, then she can also wake up for its timely completion. While Payal secretly vows to let Bindiya go hungry rather than breaking her fast for Krish, she later expresses regret for hurting Bindiya’s face and wonders what more she must do to win Krish’s love. Observing Indu walking towards Baldev’s direction, Payal assumes that they are meeting in secret.
After carefully putting on her makeup and drying her lips, she sighs and remarks how it’s sometimes a struggle to perfect her look. Fiddling with her hair, she dramatically collapses onto the floor as if she has fainted. Krish walks in and finds her lying there, concernedly asking what happened. Playing coy, Payal explains that she’s observing a fast for him. He urges her to break the fast by drinking some water and reveals that he knows she mentioned Rudra’s name during the fast. Payal admits that this is her first Teej and she wants to complete all the rituals.
Krish inquires about Payal’s transformation, as she was not religious before. Payal responds by saying that even in her previous life, she was not a devoted wife. With a victorious smile on her face, she turns to Krish, who then pulls her close and embraces her. He urges her to follow the rituals and open her fast as she pleases. Reminding her to get ready, he notices that Bindiya is already dressed and has adorned the household temple with flowers and rangoli. Krish calls for Payal to come prepared and asks if she is feeling hungry. Soon enough, Payal arrives dressed up. Seeing her all decked up leaves Krish awestruck. She apologizes for not being able to wear certain clothes and jewellery as a married woman and adds that it doesn’t feel right to wear them. Krish interjects saying that she looks best in this look, but Payal worries about people thinking their relationship is artificial like the jewellery. However, Krish reassures her that their bond will be genuine just like their father’s recovery from illness.
Payal persuades him to purchase jewelry for her. Krish admires her selflessness and purity, and she expresses her love for him by embracing him. Curious about Baldev, Payal inquires about his well-being. Krish assures her that he is doing well and resting in his room. He promises to handle everything once his father is better and invites Payal to accompany him. Meanwhile, Bindiya prepares a plate and begins the Ambe Maa’s aarti. Payal hopes that Krishna will be the one to break her fast with his hands, regardless of Bindiya performing the puja. In the meantime, Bindiya seeks blessings from Ambe Maa so that she may break her fast with Krishna ji’s hands.
Krish escorts Payal to the ground floor, where they suddenly spot Baldev approaching. In a split-second decision, Krish hides with Payal and asks her to stay in the adjacent room while he goes to pray to the goddess for their well-being. He expresses concern over taking any risks that could jeopardize Papa’s life. Payal, on the other hand, is equally worried about her plan being foiled and makes sure to avoid any lapses. As she observes Bindiya, Indu, and Sakshi performing the aarti ceremony, Bindiya catches sight of Baldev’s presence and questions why he ignored their doctor’s advice. Baldev justifies his actions by claiming that it’s Bindiya’s first fast and Indu must break it with his assistance instead of resting all day. After performing the aarti, Indu blesses Bindiya and notices Krish standing at a distance. However, Krish has no intention of accepting aarti or prasad from Bindiya’s hands. He even turns down her attempt to seek blessings by stepping back when she tries touching his feet. Meanwhile, Baldev closely watches their interaction.
During the aarti, Baldev tells Krishna that he should respect their customs, if not participate in the rituals. As Krish takes the aarti, Bindiya humbly bends down to touch his feet. Despite Bindiya’s repeated attempts, Krish remains firm in his disbelief. However, Vikram and Sakshi smile at Bindiya’s gesture. Determined to uphold her beliefs, Bindiya kneels down once again, but Krish continues to back away from her. As Bindiya walks towards him, he stops and stands against the wall. Undeterred, Bindiya finally touches his feet and declares that she will move forward with her faith, regardless of whether or not Krishna trusts her. She proclaims that even God cannot resist the determination of a devoted wife.
After saying thanks to God, Sakshi asks Indu if she’d like a smoothie. Indu says yes. Bindiya says the fast is broken with prasad. Baldev and Vikram break their wives’ fasts. Bindiya waits for Krish.
