Koel plays the part of a grieving mother and urges Swara to come home, but Swara reads the room and asks whether they really want her back or fear exposure. She vows that the person who poisoned her will be exposed and removed from the house.

Back at the haveli, Swara reviews CCTV footage but initially sees nothing. Undeterred, she continues to investigate and presses for answers. Koel feigns shock and asks Vedant what Swara could possibly accuse her of. Vedant shields his mother, taking Koel away from the interrogation, while Prabha urges Swara not to overexert herself and leads Dadi away. Manju warns Swara that Koel is clever and that accusing her will be difficult, but Swara stands by her claim. When Prabha serves food to Dadi, Swara notices the same blue saree and the red bangles. Confronting Prabha in her room, Swara demands an explanation. Prabha refuses to answer at first, until Swara threatens to expose her using an electric wire as a show of resolve. Under pressure, Prabha breaks down and admits to poisoning Swara.
