During the episode, Baldev informs Amma that Pandit ji has instructed him to perform Shiv Vivaah. When Amma asks where bad bahu is, Indu says she should ask Baldev, who says he might know. Baldev says she must be in her room. She says she is doing all the work, so she is called badki bahu. Krish and Payal arrive. Indu takes off Krish’s bad sight. Krish asks where Bindiya and Sam are. Baldev says they may have gone.
He says they ought to have informed me since we are business partners. Bindiya says she will come and go. Samay comes there with Bindiya and says they have gone to the temple. He says we didn’t tell you because you don’t do puja. She sprinkles holy water in Shanti’s room. She sees Shanti about to faint and falls down. She holds her and makes her sit. She gets Samay to check her diabetes. The sugar level is low.
Bindiya returned with a glass of juice for Shanti and encouraged her to drink. However, Shanti declined, worried that it may break her fast. Bindiya reassured her that the traditional Sarati and Barati concept allows Nirjala to fast for Sarati and drink for Barati. Payal overheard and realized she could have something to drink as well. Despite Bindiya’s explanation, Shanti remained hesitant. Seeing this, Bindiya offered a different solution – to tie a mauli thread on her hand and fast on her behalf. Touched by Bindiya’s gesture, Shanti became emotional and affectionately called her “Badimaa”. As Bindiya handed her the juice, she, too, was moved to tears. Samay thanked Bindiya for coming up with such a thoughtful idea.
Payal sees a fruit plate on the terrace and starts eating it. Sakshi catches her red-handed and asks why she broke the fast. Payal says, “I came to know we could eat food.” Sakshi says, “Amma and Mummy will break you.” Bindiya tells Amma that all the arrangements are done. Amma says that nothing can be missed in your presence. Baldev tells Amma that this is Bindiya’s value, she is sarvagunn sampan and sanskari.
Sakshi informs Indu that something unfortunate has occurred, causing her to exclaim in shock. Indu requests her to explain further. Sakshi reveals that Payal is enjoying some fruit chaat on the terrace, despite being a member of Shiv’s wedding party and able to eat. Payal adds that she had already explained this to Sakshi, but she refused to listen and instead caused a scene. Baldev expresses his disappointment in Payal’s inability to fast for a single day for Krish, questioning how she will manage married life with him. In defense, Payal mentions Bindiya’s explanation of the baraati and saraati tradition.
The girl scolds Payal and says she wants to slap her. She reminds her of her words. Bindiya believes she didn’t tell Payal and believes a selfish girl like Payal cannot love anyone. Payal says she kept the fast with her heart. Krish asks why she ate then. Krish says if you can’t keep the fast, then don’t keep it. He says it’s okay if she ate fruit.
Indu asks Shanti not to interfere and Shanti asks her to listen first. She says you left Lakshmi like Bindiya and brought bhukkad like Payal for Krish. She says that on one side, there is Payal, who did not keep fast for your Babu even after you said, and on the other side, there is Bindiya, who fasted for my Samay with selfless intention. Bindiya and Samay do not have any relation. Krish hears her and gets angry. He causes the flower basket to fall down.
Payal asks Bindiya why she kept a fast for Sam and didn’t tell anyone. Bindiya says she has kept a fast and has not published the newspaper. Krish stops her and calls Sapna. Sakshi says I thought you would either keep or not keep the fast for Krish, but you surprised us.
Indu says Badimaa was unwell, so I took her to swear and fasted. Amma praises Bindiya. Shanti says that she feels connected to her. Baldev praises her. Samay says Bindiya is the best east and west. Indu gets upset with Bindiya for fasting for Samay.
