Walking to teary-eyed Akeer, Gurnoor wonders why he was dancing strangely in class. Akeer is crying right now. Gurnoor invites Chintu and Mintu to talk about his issue while she pulls puppets on her thumbs. Having numerous friends at his former school, Akeer hugs her and notes that this one has no friends. Is he missing his friends, Gurnoor wonders. Akeer claims he misses his mother, who has visited God.
Saying that she misses her parents, who left her when she was a bit older than him, Gurnoor hugs and calms him. How does she manage it, Akeer wonders? Gurnoor says she will sing upon remembering them. Calling her mamma, Akeer inquires as to whether she would educate him. Gurnoor says she came here to teach him music and obtained a job as a music instructor, thanks to him. Why does he call her mamma, she wonders? Though she is not his mother, Akeer claims her look closely matches hers.
She challenges Akeer to show how rocking he is and participate in his class’s group dance and performance. She drives him to the class. Akeer starts dancing strangely once more. His peers make jokes about him. Gurnoor cheers him up and teaches him to dance. Akeer moves elegantly. After his performance, Gurnoor claps him, and others follow. Angad pauses even though he is trying to clap and watches everything. Gurnoor leaves the classroom at last.
One peon, Suresh, sets out her tea. She talks with him in her customary manner and claims she likes tea. She then observes another staff member scrubbing the floor and remarks he is working very hard and needs tea to cool himself. She brings him her tea and picks another from Suresh. The floor sweeper claims he has been working here for five years and offers her mathri/snack; she adds no teacher or staff treated him as nicely as she did. The principal asks Gurnoor whether she turned in her paperwork.
Gurnoor pledges to the principal that she will turn in her papers but recalls a goon boss burning her records. “Should she turn them in by tomorrow?” the principal asks. Gurnoor believes goons will identify and catch her location if she applies for copies online. From a distance, Angad watches everything once more. Back home, Akeer tells Bebe about his current school dancing performance.
Simran calls Angad there since Akeer seemed depressed in class today; Angad responded effectively. Akeer says Gurnoor’s teacher cheered him up and tells how good she is, how she listened to his problem, how she encouraged him for a dance and cheered him up, etc.; he will present them all to Gurnower’s teacher tomorrow. Akeer said they will be surprised to find Gurnoor looks exactly like Sahiba. Garry inquires about Angad, the Gurnoor miss. Angad reports he is doing great. The family claims Akeer praised his Gurnoor miss so much they should meet her tomorrow.
A little later, Gurnoor performs Lagjaa Gale Ke Phir Ye Haseen Raat Ho Na Ho.. song. Angad, sobbing, remembers Sahiba and the incident with Akeer and Gurnoor today. Gurnoor goes to bed and dreams about goons burning her records. She opens her eyes and remembers that she will lose her job if she does not submit paperwork tomorrow. The Principal warned her of this.
