The inspector says Angad feels guilty for raising his hands without any reason on Diljeet. He says he doesn’t need to be concerned about charges as Diljeet won’t complain. Angad doesn’t care about charges and just wants to meet him and apologize. The inspector promises to get his address. The nurse asks Angad about the woman who brought Simran to the hospital.
She might have left because she was in a hurry. She hates Sahiba because she believes she lost her father as a result of her, and Angad lost his peace of mind as a result of her. The nurse holds a BP cuff to her hand to check her BP. She shouts angrily and pushes the cuff away. Angad walks in and asks what happened. Simran says the BP cuff was too tight. Angad believes he could never meet a woman who saved Simran’s life.
While washing utensils, Sahiba is reminded of Angad’s hurtful accusation and expulsion from their home. Lost in thought, she continues to scrape the dishes. Diljeet and Biji notice her distant behavior and inquire about it. However, she does not respond and instead walks away. Later, Angad asks Simran if she misses their father, to which she nods in agreement. He shares that he also misses their father daily but believes they should feel his presence and strive for happiness. Simran realizes how important Angad’s happiness is to her and decides not to mention Sahiba’s name in front of him so as not to ruin his joy.
As Sahiba cooks, she is lost in thought. Twinkle then informs her that she has completed Akeer’s homework. However, Sahiba remains unresponsive. The song “Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam..” plays in the background as Sahiba suddenly snaps out of her daze due to burning fingers. She breaks down and wonders why Angad had to come to her house. As she gazes at a photo of Akeer and Diljeet, she recalls that Angad sent Diljeet to jail and questions his presence with Simran. Fueled by these thoughts, she resolves to prevent Angad from meeting her son and keep him away from their lives.
When the whole family reaches her, Diljeet asks what she’s doing here instead of eating with them. Sahiba has never been in such intense tension before, she was so peaceful before. Something is wrong. Diljeet says he can’t see Sahiba like this. Sahiba says she’s fine and she’ll paint pots. Diljeet says she already has.
She says she’ll check if they’re drying. Akeer asks Diljeet what happened to Mamma. Diljeet says even he doesn’t know what happened to Mamma. Akeer sets up a painting board and reminds Sahiba that she makes his paintings every year on his birthday but forgot to do so on this occasion. Biji advises her not to stop the tradition at any time.
As Akeer poses for the painting, Biji goes to fetch Lassi. Diljeet desires to paint Akeer daily, while Sahiba agrees with a smile. Akeer then shares that he wants his painting done with his father this year. Diljeet happily joins in on the posing. However, Sahiba’s smile falters as she remembers Angad and accidentally slips. Concerned, Diljeet and Akeer ask if she is okay while Biji brings them some lassi. Sahiba explains that despite her work being appreciated, her contractor has not paid her and tries to cheer herself up with Biji’s lassi before asking them to pose again. Biji remarks that Sahiba is back to her old self, bringing everyone a smile. Diljeet looks forward to participating in a peaceful cycle race the next day.
The following day, Angad apologizes to Surinder’s uncle for not listening to him and to Diljeet. He asks him to give him Diljeet’s address so he can apologize. Surinder says Diljeet is taking part in a cycle competition nearby. In the cycle competition, the host introduces Diljeet and other competitors. He praises a participant who has won competitions for ten years.
Surinder brings Angad to the competition venue. Diljeet challenges that participant and vows to win the race no matter what. Twinkle shows him the sports cycle as a 1st prize, and Akeer asks Twinkle why Papa is participating in a cycle race. Akeer says that’s what he wanted and asks Diljeet whether he’s participating in the race to fulfill his promise. Diljeet says keeping promises strengthens their bond. Akeer is Diljeet’s son, and Angad realizes it.
