Akeer inquires if Diljeet has joined a cycle race to acquire a new sports bike. Diljeet responds that he is committed to never breaking a promise. Angad then turns to Surinder and asks if he is Diljeet’s son. Surinder replies that Akeer holds a special place in Diljeet’s heart and is considered his closest companion. Diljeet’s companions add that he will go to great lengths to achieve Akeer’s happiness. As Angad reflects on shedding tears for his unborn child and father, Inder, Akeer tries to lift Diljeet’s spirits. Angad envisions that if his son is still alive, he will do anything for him, just as Diljeet does for Akeer.
As the competition rages on, Diljeet persists in his cycling. The other competitors remain silent, seemingly losing ground. Seeing Akeer’s concern, Diljeet assures him he will secure the sports cycle without fail. However, to his misfortune, his pedal breaks, and he injures his foot while trying to keep going. Despite this setback, he continues to push himself with incredible difficulty. The host remarks that it appears as though Diljeet will not be able to finish the race. Akeer inquires about what happened, but Diljeet reassures him and pedals with one foot. Surinder observes from a distance and tells Angad that Diljeet may not come out on top today. To boost Diljeet’s spirits, Angad offers words of encouragement. Confused by Sirji’s presence at the event, Diljeet wonders why he is there. Meanwhile, Akeer fears that arrogant uncle may have come to punish him for some reason.
A competitor falls and is removed from the race. The host says only Diljeet Panesar and Sanju Sikandar remain. Sahiba searches for Akeer and Diljeet and asks a shopkeeper for information. Twinkle calls Sahiba. Angad indirectly suggests Akeer cheer up his father to help him win. Twinkle encourages Diljeet not to lose hope. Akeer also encourages Diljeet, followed by others. Diljeet says he can do anything for his Yaara.
Diljeet is exhausted, and Twinkle urges him to quit as his life is more important than a race. Akeer echoes her sentiments. Sahiba arrives at the ground and is taken aback to witness Diljeet competing with an injured foot. She approaches him, but Angad walks away without noticing her. Sahiba pleads with Diljeet to stop, but he refuses, citing his promise to his son to get him a cycle. He collapses due to the pain, and his family rushes over with water. Diljeet can’t help but feel disappointed for losing his composure.
It’s time to announce the winners. The host says Sanju won the race for 10 years, and Diljeet won the second prize. He gives Diljeet a cycle and says it’s a judge’s decision. Diljeet says he didn’t win the race. The host says the second winner’s prize has been changed to a cycle. An Angad tells the host not to mention him.
Akeer replies that if he troubles his father again, he will trouble him again. Diljeet notices this. Akeer asks Diljeet if he knows him. Angad apologizes. Angad says he can think so. Diljeet says they’re chatting like they’ve known each other for years. Sahiba gets tense seeing Angad with Akeer.
