After Renu asks Roshni about Sayali’s attitude, she goes to her room. Roshni asks Renu to forget her. Renu says, “I’ll go to the temple.” Sachin arrives at the bar with Anya and says Sudhakar and the moneylender have troubled me. The mechanic isn’t giving me the car, and he just takes money. Sudhakar won’t be arrested. Sachin says I made a mistake by getting married. Anya says Sayali didn’t lie to you, and she just concealed the truth.
As Sachin and Anya angrily retaliate, the goons quickly flee the scene. The bar owner intervenes and urges them to take the fight outside. Anya beckons Sachin to follow her as they exit the bar. However, Sachin insists on finding Sudhakar before returning home and continues to drink. Meanwhile, Renu asks Sayali to serve food to Tejas and Roshni, instructing Roshni to have her milk to ward off any negative energies. As a drunk Sachin returns home, Sayali becomes visibly worried, but he snaps at her and even scolds Tejas, who responds by pushing him away.
Sachin blames Sayali for everything. He describes what happened. He says I married you, and I’m suffering in my life, and everyone is insulting me. Tejas asks Roshni not to react, Sachin is mad. Tejas asks Sachin not to drink. Sachin asks why you’re fake. Renu stops him and asks him to leave. He gets hiccups and drinks milk because he will tell Tejas the truth.
Renu insults Sachin and Sayali. Sayali asks Sachin to come. Sachin pushes her and scolds her. Paresh comes and asks Sayali if she’s okay. He asks Sachin if he’s drunk. Sachin says yes. Renu says, “Look at his state.” She pushes him. Roshni asks if he always drinks and comes. Tejas says yes, he’s a drunkard. Sachin scolds him.
He says Tejas took 27 lakhs from my dad and ran away. I asked him to return the 27 lakhs in six months, but he has not returned a single rupee. Although I work hard, I am in debt, but I give money for expenses. Sachin asks when he gave money, as he hasn’t earned a rupee yet. Paresh asks what’s up, Sachin. He says he has alcohol, but he is not a drunkard, but he insulted me, so he is drunk, and this is happening because of Tejas.
Paresh asks Renu to take Roshni to the room. Sachin says the truth won’t hide. Renu asks Paresh how Sachin is insulting us. Paresh scolds Sachin. I feel tired, I always stood by you, you embarrassed me. Sachin says I got drunk due to the insult. Paresh asks what Roshni will think of us and what Sayali will feel seeing you in this state.
Sachin says she won’t care; she’s the source of all the problems. I saved her and her family from Sudhakar, but he took revenge on me. I lost my taxi, and she never told the truth. He apologizes to Sayali and says, “I couldn’t stop you from drinking.” He says he can’t be a good father for Sachin, so he can’t be a good husband for you. Sayali says no.
Paresh sobs as Renu mocks him and leaves. Sayali says, “I thought Sachin and I were making progress, but it seems fate has other plans.” She becomes sombre and exits. Sachin lies on the ground, muttering to himself. Sayali’s tears flow as she watches him. Meanwhile, Riya fixes her scooty with Akash’s help. He asks why she called him for assistance, and she explains that it broke down and that she needs to get to the studio. Akash reassures her, “Don’t worry, I was in the area. And if anyone needs help, I can go to the restaurant later.” He then questions, “Don’t you have a boyfriend or any friends who could have come instead?”
She says I don’t have a friend, I just talk to you. He says I cook for you every day, so you talk to me. He asks why you talk to me. He says you are my friend, you don’t complain, you understand me, I feel comfortable with you. He says you mean you’re my best friend. They leave.
After Sachin gets ready, Sayali comes to talk. Paresh comes home and hears them. Sayali says I had hidden the truth from you, and you would have done anything and gone back to jail. Sachin says don’t talk nonsense. If you had gone to jail, Sayali says I would have been affected, my life is connected to yours. Your anger is your greatest enemy.
Sachin accuses me of making a mistake, but Sayali insists it’s hers to blame. He points out that it’s my error. She defends herself, questioning if my feelings and anger are not valid reasons to hide the truth. She is justified in her anger, especially since I often come home intoxicated, harming my well-being. Parents typically forgive their children, yet I have not changed after marriage. She accepted me as I am, but a new daughter-in-law has joined our family. What will she think? Even if I claim not to care about what others think, deep down, I know it does matter. How can we expect respect from others when we don’t show respect within our family? Sayali is devastated by Paresh’s reaction and stays behind alone while he walks away somberly. All day long, she remains there, considering how her sense of self-worth is closely tied to his treatment of her. Has he ever stopped to consider how this affects her dignity?
