Udne Ki Aasha 17th December 2024 Written Episode begins with Renu, Roshni and Riya cutting vegetables and preparing spices. The maid praises Roshni’s speed. Renu tells her she works as if she has been doing these chores for years. Roshni replies that Malti taught her everything a few minutes ago and she picked it up quickly. Renu then asks Riya to slice onions. Riya immediately cuts her finger and bursts into tears.

Aaji and Sayali arrive, and Aaji asks what happened. Sayali checks Riya’s finger and tells her she will be fine. Roshni says it is only a small cut, but Riya panics and asks to be taken to a hospital. Aaji tells her to wait and insists that haldi will heal the wound, reminding her this happens to every woman. Malti brings haldi and Sayali gently applies it. Riya again demands a doctor. Aaji says the doctor comes only in the evening and sends her to rest. She instructs Renu and Roshni to finish the kitchen work. Sayali offers to help Renu, but Aaji refuses and takes Sayali with her.

Sachin and Sayali talk privately. Sachin praises Sayali’s family. Meanwhile, Roshni tries calling Sultan. Renu lights the stove and guides Riya. Riya sees the smoke and panics, saying she will call the fire brigade. Renu tells her there is no need. Aaji stops Sayali and tells her not to take pity on Renu. Sayali says Renu looks stressed. Aaji says she knows exactly what she is doing.

Riya unknowingly pours an entire jar of mustard seeds into the hot oil, worrying Renu and Roshni. Renu tells Riya to listen carefully and follow instructions. Aaji laughs as she watches their struggle. Riya helplessly asks what to do next. Renu politely thanks her and tells her she has already helped enough and can go eat carrots instead. Roshni asks if she can make dal chawal, and Renu agrees. Aaji tells Sayali that now the girls will understand how hard it is to cook and not just complain about food.

At mealtime, everyone sits at the dining table. Riya proudly praises Akash for his cooking skills. Renu stops Sayali from serving food, calling her a credit thief and insulting Sayali’s family. Paresh questions Renu’s behaviour. Sachin says Sayali cooks for the whole family daily but never gets praised, and jokingly says Roshni and Riya should win awards for cooking one meal. Aaji agrees that Renu behaved unfairly with Sayali, which is why she asked Sayali to sit and eat first. Sayali tries to say she will eat later, but Sachin stops her.

Renu starts serving food but continues showing attitude to Sayali. Tejas praises Roshni for her effort. Riya brags that she cut the vegetables. Akash holds half a brinjal and asks if she cut that too. Sachin says the food tastes great and asks who cooked the aloo dish. He says Renu could not have made it. Aaji reveals Sayali cooked it for Sachin, with Aaji adding the tadka. Sachin happily praises the dish.

Aaji asks Renu why she did not serve Sayali properly. Sachin offers papad to Sayali. He then asks Renu for some rice. Paresh also tells Renu to serve it.

Riya says she cannot eat with her hands because of the cut. Akash tells her to try. Renu offers to feed her by hand. Sachin jokes that gold makes people behave this way. Aaji says eating with hands will heal her finger faster. Renu says the spices may irritate it and feeds her herself. Sayali feels hurt watching this.

Aaji interrupts and asks Sayali to sit beside Riya. She then tells Renu that feeding only one daughter in law is wrong and she should feed all three daughters in law equally. Sachin cheers for Aaji’s decision.
