After coming home, he sits on the ground and talks to Shobha and Juhi. He sits on the ground. Kaki asks him to stay for a few days. Sachin says no, he has to work. He jokes about Sayali and says you can call her anytime. Kaki says Sayali, you come and help your mum. Shobha says no, Juhi is there for me. He tells them some stories and laughs. They all laugh. Sachin says I remember one more thing. He talks to them. Sayali smiles at the happy laughter and sees them smiling.
She tells Sachin that the food is ready. Sayali says he will have his food in the room so that I will serve it there. She asks Sachin to go to the room. He says no, I will sit here and eat. Sayali thinks you can go. He says we’ll have it here. Shobha says whatever you like. He asks Juhi to serve the food to everyone. The food is fantastic, he says. Shobha says have it, Sayali has cooked it. Sachin sees Sayali. He says it’s good.
In the evening, Sachin approaches Sayali and comments on how her friends had spoken highly of her. He asks if she has urged them to do so. She denies it, and he questions why she is gazing at him. She clarifies that it’s because he didn’t consume any alcohol. He explained that he had eaten a lot and decided not to drink today because he believed those who drink have a different mindset. It’s almost like reverse psychology for him. Sayali says he won’t indulge in drinks if she asks him to. He confesses that drinking wine brings him happiness, and he doesn’t need it to find peace today because he finds it in her presence. He reflects on how long it has been since he has spoken to everyone in such a manner.
He says you eat with your parents too. He said yes, but I’ve never felt this in my home; everyone was laughing and eating together. I had double food today, and I’m not kidding. She thanks him and says you didn’t drink wine today. He says right, I can drink if I want. She says something used to happen after Dad left. She talks to him. He turns and doesn’t see her. She thinks he won’t change. He changes in the room. She comes there. They argue.
He compliments your cooking skills and asks where you learned them. You reply that your mother taught you. He clarified that he was curious because your cooking matches Aaji’s delicious meals. She wonders why since he eats out often. He explains that although the person cooking for him is passionate and serves with love, the food doesn’t compare to yours. If you had opened a dhaba, you would have succeeded but married instead. He accidentally drops a water pot and suggests they clean the floor together. However, she slips, and he grabs her hand to prevent her from falling.
Suddenly, the neighbors appear. They claim Sayali didn’t tell us Sachin was an actor. Sachin says he is not. They asked if I had seen your serial. Sachin replies no. Which serial did I appear in? They play the television serial. Sachin’s scene appears. Sayali recalls. Sachin says no, you didn’t tell me you were an actor. Juhi says you are a star. Sachin says no, my friend does acting, he couldn’t make it that day, so I had to play this role. They praise his acting.
Acting is tough; one should stick to what one knows. Juhi says villains get famous these days. The ladies take selfies with Sachin, Sayali thinks.
Sudhakar says you got the money. Tell me. He says they have given us some money, so they no longer fear us. Sudhakar gets angry and says Shobha and Juhi are alone at home, and I’ll show them what I can do. She asks Sayali if she will have a child soon. She asks Sachin whether he refused. She asks Sayali how she will explain herself, and Shobha asks her to do so.
As Sayali speaks, Shobha says that nothing has happened between you two; there was a misunderstanding in your mind. You know he saved you from Sudhakar, and you both look happy together. He doesn’t think he’s married; he listens to Paresh. Shobha says you knew about your marriage, Sachin did not. Try to understand his mindset; he’ll try to get to know you better.
