The scene opens with Sayali and Renu engaged in a heated argument. Renu turns to Tejas and requests him to call the police. Sachin supports Diip’s actions, encouraging them to make the call. In the midst of this, a man arrives to deliver tickets. Roshni announces that Tejas has successfully booked tickets for Andaman with a discount. The man hands over an envelope containing the refund along with the tickets. Curious, Sayali takes a peek at the envelope. Tejas thanks the man and attempts to leave, but Sayali stops him and asks for the envelope. Roshni questions her about it.
Sayali inquires about the source of your funds. Roshni advises against playing coy. Sayali states that they will go through all the accounts, and she expects honest answers from Roshni. Sachin responds with approval. Sayali inspects the envelope and questions when Tejas begins working for the railway. She prompts Tejas to speak up. Sayali then shows Paresh the envelope, revealing Joy’s name on it. She admits that Tejas received this envelope from the union office, and Joy gave him one lakh rupees. Renu becomes anxious.
According to Sachin, Tejas is the culprit behind the missing money. Sayali has brought this to light. I’ve mentioned this before – the thief is among us in this house. Now, Sachin urges Renu to confirm his accusations and then turns to Tejas, asking for an explanation. He reminds Tejas of the 28 lakhs that must be returned to their father. In response, Sayali suggests calling the police as she believes her family has been insulted, and the truth is now known. She remarks that Tejas can no longer hide behind his family’s reputation as thieves.
Dilip claims I took the bike, which resulted in the loss of my father. I assured Sayali that I would not repeat such actions. Paresh points out to Renu whose fault it is. Shubha tearfully questions if we will be held accountable for anything just because we are poor. We have raised our children with honesty and never deceived anyone.
According to her, my children have been raised well. Dilip has arrived to apologize, but we refuse to entertain your taunts. Our family values respect as well. Juhi makes a sly remark about Tejas to Renu, causing Sachin to smile. Paresh agrees with their stance. Sayali speaks up about the insult directed towards her family and wonders why there is now silence. Sachin suggests she may be too shocked since her son became a thief. He goes on to mock Tejas and Roshni.
Roshni inquires why Tejas is quiet, and Paresh chimes in, asking how he acquired the funds. Renu begins to put on a show, expressing that her head is spinning and she had forgotten she lent the money to Tejas due to mental stress. Sachin compliments her acting skills, Renu confesses that she gave the money to Tejas, and he mentions his delayed salary. Tejas interjects, admitting he was unaware it belonged to their father. Paresh accuses him of disrespecting them, and Renu takes responsibility for her error.
Sayali mentioned that you quickly forgot the bitter words and insults you directed toward my family. The matter will be resolved once you apologize to them. Sachin agreed, and Renu asked for clarification. Sayali reminded you that an apology to my family is necessary. Paresh supported her, and Renu apologized to everyone, including Shubha. Sachin noted her acting skills, and Paresh reassured her that the situation can be forgotten now that she has apologized.
Shubha suggests leaving now, while Paresh invites everyone to have some tea. As they make their way out, Sachin reminds Dilip to feel welcome at their home anytime. Sayali and Paresh see them off as Sachin remarks that Tejas was lucky this time, wondering what he will do next. Renu becomes upset, prompting Sachin to declare that he will not let Tejas fly free for long and will find a way to trap him. He then leaves. Roshni also becomes angry and retreats to her room while Renu glares at Sachin. Tejas approaches her cautiously as she begins to hit him.
She chastises him for taking the money. He breaks down in tears. He explains that he felt pressured by Roshni to book honeymoon tickets, so he went to the showroom and asked for reimbursement for his work. However, they refused to give him the money, and he didn’t want to disappoint Roshni. She says he should have come to her for help instead of stealing. She feels humiliated because she had to apologize to the showroom staff, and her respect has been tarnished. He apologizes, stating that he never imagined things would turn out this way. She asks how he could stoop so low as to steal from her cupboard. He sincerely replies with a simple “sorry.”
She scolds me for my forgetfulness, claiming that if I hadn’t forgotten, Sachin would have beaten you. Do you believe Roshni would have resented you? Tejas assures her that he won’t repeat his mistake. Overcome with emotion, she explains that she had hoped he would make her proud and maintain her honor, but he has failed to do so. She demands that he seek a new job. He begs for her forgiveness and promises not to repeat his actions. She wipes away his tears and instructs him to go to his room. Reluctantly, he obeys.
Sayali notices Renu and proceeds to her room, where she becomes emotional. Sachin joins her and inquires if Renu revealed anything to her. She says that their family was humiliated because of their financial status. Sachin reminds her that Renu inherited the house from her grandfather, but he is just a taxi driver, and she should not feel inferior because of their circumstances. Sayali expresses that Renu would not have treated Roshni’s brother differently, as his father is wealthy. She feels deeply hurt by the partiality shown towards her and how one bahu is treated like a queen while the other is like a maid. She explains that this is due to the difference in wealth between their families, with Roshni’s father being wealthy. Sachin argues that they cannot confirm if this is true, as they have never seen tangible proof of their wealth. He reassures Sayali that Renu’s kind personality has nothing to do with their economic backgrounds and she should not compare herself to others based on material possessions. She concludes by stating that she comes from a simple background, whereas Roshni’s parents are well-off.
