Aarohi packs her bags and contemplates. She catches sight of Abhimanyu and Roohi’s photo, which brings tears to her eyes. Abhimanyu enters the room, to which she replies that she was attempting to move out, as he was looking for a way out as well. He apologizes for not telling her about Abhir; he claims he had no intention of hurting anyone by keeping the truth away from them. Aarohi feels hurt but requests a favour – that the Goenka family not be informed of her departure, since they are already dealing with Abhir’s surgery and custody proceedings.
He asked Akshara where she was going, and her reply was that she, as a single mother, could manage it on her own. Muskaan’s weeping filled the air as Kairav discovered he had missed a gift. Manish and the others conjectured about what might have been in Muskaan’s mind; Suvarna admitted they had not known what to expect while Surekha reprimanded them for their lack of consideration towards her and even calling her “Dadi Amma”. She argued that if Manish had accepted the truth earlier, this situation would have been avoided.
She says you were here, how did this happen? Abhinav says Muskaan didn’t tell me. Akshara says she did tell me. He asks why didn’t you tell me. She says she told me not to tell anyone. He says I have a right to know. She asks when I can say, you don’t have time to talk to me, you come home, have dinner, and leave. He says that I’m trying to earn money for my sake. She says you’re trying to be equal to Abhimanyu. Aarohi says it will be hard for Roohi to leave home.
Abhimanyu takes Akshara’s hand and leads her. Abhinav and Akshara then begin to quarrel, with her begging him to put an end to his desperate chase for money, which has driven a wedge between them and Abhir. He retorts that he must provide for their son, he is devoted to giving him everything and will be hard at work day in day out. Abhimanyu interjects, assuring both that neither Roohi nor Aarohi would have to leave the house. At this point, Akshara starts singing aarti, tears streaming down her face; concern is evident on everyone’s faces. Abhir joins in the song with his own rendition of O Kanha; brightening the atmosphere with smiles all round. Manjiri completes the ritual and offers Roohi laddoo as a sign of gesture.
She gives prasad to all and goes. Abhimanyu insists on Akshara, his mum, and Dadi understanding the situation. Kairav notices Muskaan while Neela expresses her regret in wanting to return to Kasauli with Muskaan. Akshara begs them to stay, pointing out that Muskaan has to terminate her work contract too. Manish suggests getting a solution but Neela still chooses to leave with Muskaan. Abhinav backs up their decision, asking everyone not to impede their journey. Neela hands over money for their tickets which saddens Abhinav, despite Manish’s plea for finding a way to keep the family intact.
He asked, does a man not stay a son when he becomes a father, you are breaking my courage, if you give me money I will scold you. She replied that you are doing a father’s duty, isn’t it my duty to help? Abhinav hugs her and they cry. Abhinav says he will arrive in 15 minutes. Abhir says the doctor allowed me 10 minutes to play. He says no, he is getting late. Abhinav gets the car keys and leaves, but Abhir says he has no time to scold me.
He says we must attack, like Abhimanyu’s lawyer is doing. Akshara listens to the lawyer’s audio. The lawyer says Akshara has decided to stay fair, but all this… Abhimanyu hears the lawyer’s audio. Akshara and Abhimanyu sit and cry. They recall the past. They get poetic about love and cry. He says Akshara is married to Abhinav, give him some pointers to prove Akshara is not a good mother, otherwise give up Abhir’s custody.
