Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th September 2024 Written Episode begins with Manish and Surekha bringing Abhira home. Swarna questions her presence, but Manish declares that Abhira is their daughter and forbids anyone from questioning her. Ruhi, fuming, storms into her room, angry that Abhira has come to her house.

Meanwhile, Armaan looks at baby socks and recalls Vidya and Dadi’s words, lost in thought. Abhira breaks down, hugging Akshu’s guitar, and confides to her late mother about her pain of not being able to bear a child. Manish overhears her sorrow and vows to never let her return to the Poddar family.

At the Poddar house, Charu and Krish defend Abhira, but Dadi says while it isn’t her fault, no family would accept a daughter-in-law who cannot give them an heir. Madhav worries that society’s taunts will hurt both Armaan and Abhira. Manoj says Abhira considers him like a father, and Manisha adds that they should support her. However, Sanjay argues against bending to Abhira. Vidya insists that Armaan must choose wisely, saying she wants to see if he values her love or Abhira’s. Armaan overhears this emotional dilemma.

Both Armaan and Abhira cry separately, feeling broken. Dadi tells Armaan that love can turn into regret later and urges him to decide. Abhira messages Armaan, and when they speak, she tells him there is nothing left to discuss. Armaan asks about their marriage, but she firmly refuses.
