Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd September 2024 Written Episode begins with Abhira arriving at the wedding venue. She looks around for Armaan, unaware of the storm unfolding. Meanwhile, Armaan receives a message from Ruhi, who threatens to do something drastic if he does not meet her. Confronting Shambhu, Armaan realises Ruhi’s involvement and decides to go, thinking that his happiness cannot come before someone’s life.

Back at the venue, Abhira waits, believing Armaan is planning a surprise for her. Rohit also waits for Ruhi, while Krish informs Kaveri that Armaan is missing. Sanjay takes the opportunity to taunt, saying Armaan has once again escaped his wedding. Rohit supports Sanjay’s words, but Madhav refuses to believe that Armaan has left Abhira. Sanjay insists that Armaan abandoned Abhira just as he did Ruhi earlier. Abhira grows restless, sensing something wrong, while Manish tries to calm her down. She feels the Poddars are hiding something.

Manisha suggests that Armaan might have gone to meet Vidya. Kaveri immediately calls Vidya, but Vidya admits she does not know where Armaan is. Vidya herself worries and thinks of him. The Poddars remain tense as they wonder where he has gone.

Meanwhile, Ruhi shocks Armaan by revealing her secret plan. She tells him she has arranged everything to marry him and demands that he marry her. Armaan, taken aback, questions her sanity. Ruhi emotionally blackmails him, declaring she will harm herself if he marries Abhira. Armaan firmly refuses, confessing that his love belongs only to Abhira. Ruhi continues her suicide drama, leaving Armaan stunned.

At the wedding venue, Sanjay pushes Manisha to tell Abhira the truth. Abhira directly questions Manisha about Armaan’s absence. Kaveri then cruelly tells Abhira that Armaan realised he could never be happy with her, which is why he disappeared. Abhira refuses to believe this. Madhav tries to comfort her, but Manish lashes out, accusing Armaan of abandoning Abhira just as he abandoned Ruhi. Swarna bitterly comments that Armaan is not suitable for either Abhira or Ruhi.

Elsewhere, Armaan confronts Ruhi and asks if she truly wants to marry him. He drags her along, saying that if they are to reunite, they must go somewhere first. Ruhi questions him, but Armaan remains firm.

Back at the venue, Sanjay once again accuses Armaan of leaving Abhira, while she insists that he has not. Vidya, however, says Armaan must have realised that Abhira could never give him happiness. She even stops Abhira from following him. Despite this, Abhira, heartbroken, resolves to find Armaan on her own.

Precap: Abhira senses Armaan is in danger. Armaan tells Ruhi that they cannot unite in this lifetime and declares they are going to die, leaving Ruhi horrified.
