The episode commences with Akshara inquiring from Abhir the reason for his return. Abhir responds that he left behind his water bottle and questions why she and Kairav were fighting. She hands him the bottle, reassuring him that it was just a minor disagreement. Abhir takes his leave while Kairav proceeds to pack his bags, recollecting Muskaan’s words. Dadi approaches Kairav and breaks down in tears. Meanwhile, Manish visits Muskaan, but Surekha prevents Dadi from doing the same. Manish confides in Muskaan about Anisha and how Kairav had endured accusations from Abhimanyu’s family for an entire year while they were in Mauritius. However, despite Akshara’s efforts to help Kairav move on, he couldn’t find happiness until Muskaan came into his life. Concerned for her grandson, Dadi seeks Surekha’s assistance in intervening with Kairav’s actions.
He is leaving Muskaan and pain, so why would you want him to remain in pain here, he will be fine abroad. As Manish says, he started going to work, talking to Akshara, hugging Abhir and Abhinav, you taught him to live, then you told him your feelings, and he became scared and felt his happiness would disappear, so he reacted in this way. Abhimanyu checks the car engine. He sees Abhinav washing his car. Abhimanyu struggles to fix the fault. Abhinav helps. He asks how did this happen? He says it’s a machine, we don’t know what will happen or when. Abhinav says human beings are also machines, so I didn’t know when I reacted that way. Muskaan ponders, “Kairav loved Anisha. Who am I in comparison?” Akshara responds, “It’s challenging to equate second chances with the first ones. You’re embarking on a fresh journey, and that uncertainty can be daunting.”
Kairav is well aware of this fact and has given advice to Muskaan. Muskaan then questions whether Kairav is satisfied with her decision to give love a second chance, and if she sees it as a compromise. On the other hand, Akshara observes Abhimanyu and Abhinav washing the car and expresses that the decision to start a relationship with him was one of the best in her life. She believes that they are meant for each other and it is not a compromise at all. She urges Muskaan to listen to her heart and go for it, adding that she trusts her. Acknowledging Abhinav’s discomfort towards Kairav and Muskaan’s love, she apologizes but assures him that he will soon come to trust them.
Manish hugs Kairav and tells him not to go. Kairav says you are the best, and leaving will be right for Muskaan and me. Muskaan looks on and thinks of Akshara’s words. Kairav smiles at her. Kairav sits in the car. The car doesn’t start. He thinks you have come here, but you have to take courage to stop me, and I have to know if you love me or not. He leaves. Kairav believes you just have to take two steps towards me, and I’ll walk with you the rest of his life.
Akshara encounters Kairav and encourages him to speak. He remembers Muskaan’s cries and her chase after the car. She stops the car. She cries and says yes. Kairav and everyone get happy. Manish says I’m glad to see you, you both stay happy. He blesses them both. Kairav makes Muskaan wear the paper ring. She asks if her family doesn’t agree. Dadi says this isn’t right, Manish. She leaves.
Kairav inquires about Surekha’s previous statement. She reminds him that he should have consulted Dadi before making any decisions, as she does not approve of their relationship. The flashback concludes. Kairav informs them that Muskaan has given her consent, yet… Muskaan interjects, stating that they cannot move forward without the blessings of their elders. Manish asserts that it is imperative to convince Dadi. Kairav reveals that he came to seek Neela and Abhinav’s approval and requires their assistance. Manish assures him of his support. Akshara adds that she will also be joining forces, as they need to sway Dadi’s opinion as well as Abhinav and Neela’s for Muskaan and Kairav’s marriage to proceed. A smile appears on his face.
