As Anuj watches Anupama prepare to depart with the Shah family after Dimple’s vidaai ceremony, the familiar tune of “Aye Mere Humsafar” fills the background. He fondly recalls the moment of welcoming Anupama into their home, showering her with flowers and enjoying her dance. With a wave goodbye, Anupama heads off with the Shahs. As they arrive at their new home, Anupama leads the graha pravesh ritual for Dimple and Samar and reflects on how a new bride not only enters a new house, but also a new life. She feels blessed to confidently take her first steps without any hesitation.
Leela advises that when elders offer blessings, one should smile rather than frown. She then mentions that she has been blessed with a wonderful husband, house, and grand daughter-in-law, prompting Kinjal to cough. Anupama chimes in, saying that it is important not to expect perfection from a new daughter-in-law and to be understanding of her flaws. She proceeds to welcome Dimpy with a rice kalash/bowl which Dimpy accidentally kicks loudly. Leela jokingly reminds everyone that it is a graha pravesh and not a football match. Anupama intervenes and explains the significance of taking the new daughter-in-law’s footprints on a white cloth. After completing the ritual, Leela offers prayers for auspiciousness as Dimpy steps into their home.
In a home temple, Anupama lights a lamp for Dimpy and offers water to her. Leela asks why she gives water to her daughter-in-law. Anupama replies that Dimpy is her daughter and tired after long rituals, and she gives a speech about it. Toshu tells them all to rest and praises Kumar Sanu da’s performance.
Leela says it’s hot here and they should get an AC even in the living room, since Kapadia house had a centralized air conditioner. Dimpy says she’s tired and will go rest, Samar murmurs who sleeps on wedding nights. Leela comments again. As Dimpy looks like she’s come here with some evil motto, Dolly says. Leela says she’s been saying it for a long time, and asks Dimpy to perform a kitchen ritual.
Leela asks why Dimpy asked for an AC when she is exhausted and has already been to the kitchen many times before marriage. Dimpy says she will perform the ritual tomorrow. Anupama supports her. Leela warns her not to interfere as she is no longer a Shah bahu. Vanraj stops her and asks Samar and Dimpy to go and rest. They walk to their room.
Kavya says even she will leave. Vanraj asks her to stay back as this is her house and it doesn’t look good if she stays at a hotel. Adhik says it was a tiring day at Kapadia house. Barkha says his wife didn’t return until the end of the function. She knows how stubborn she is, says Adhik. Gurumaa gave Anupama the responsibility of the Gurukul. Barkha and Maaya say they made good arrangements and did not let Shahs complain.
Maaya says it is her house and Dimpy is like her daughter, as Anuj thinks. Barkha asks when Anuj will return to Mumbai. As he tells Ankush that he wants to check accounts, he says he will not go until Anupama shifts to America. He says they should get back to work and he wants to check accounts.
Ankush walks behind him and says he will contact the accounts guys. Barkha tells Adhik that she fears Anuj will find out about the losses they made in business and will kick them out of the house, but she is not sure why he is hell bent on staying until Anupama leaves for America. Ankush notices Anuj tensed and asks why. Dimpy will not have any problem at Shah house, Anuj says.
Leela queries Vanraj about why he is preventing Kavya from leaving, as she has expressed her desire for a career in modeling and being with Anirudh. Anupama attempts to intervene, but Leela sternly reminds her not to meddle in family matters and instructs both Kavya and Anupama to go home. Vanraj then reveals that Kavya is pregnant with his child and everyone offers their congratulations. As Dimpy walks by, she expresses frustration that everyone seems more excited about Kavya’s pregnancy than her upcoming wedding. Leela wonders how this could have happened when they were constantly fighting before. Feeling shy, Kavya blushes and Vanraj dismisses any further questioning. He also declares that Kavya will now be living with them. Samar is taken aback by this revelation.
